We're paying to play online, you can't even step one foot into The Division or Destiny without a PS+ or Xbox Live subscription. Sony's selling so much that they're complacent, they don't need to entice us with better games in the instant games collection so they aren't bothering to.
Most of us hoped they'd start adding older AAA (PS4) games after the first year, then after the second year but they still aren't. They probably have no plans to
Wow, could've given 360 gamers some warning ahead of time
Pachter is an imbecile
There's no way, on any level, it would be for 4k PSVR. That is just moronic.
I stand by the idea that its for 4k media playback (like netflix) and added power for VR. Not 4k but maybe a smaller boost to performance.
Maybe too many anonymous sources are confirming it for it to be fake? Was their a patent filed or some other evidence?
So many people watch Netflix on PS so maybe they want a model that can output their 4k content?
A statement would be nice but I don't expect to hear anything till E3
Yup, super annoying. This reason alone is why I didn't bother grinding to 320.
Upgrading your gear with infusion should alleviate this issues though. I highly doubt they'd remove infusion.
We'd probably have a closer release date if we weren't waiting for those 50 launch games they mentioned.
Sales of the PS4 camera have to be in the millions, as in more than 2 million sold. It's not even a difficult idea to comprehend. You could look at any of these VR price topics, on this site or any other gaming site, and see the majority of commenters are claiming they have one already.
We are obviously not "casual gamers" but our group alone is big enough to warrant Sony decision to announce the $399 base model first.
Seriously, if you don't have a PS4 came...
Always a good sign, I hate late embargoes cuz it makes you feel like they've got something to hide.
I hope it does well, it looks top notch from what I've seen so far.
Damn, all the great news coming out of GDC had to be spoiled by something.
If Sony really asked for their dev kits back my hope of seeing this on PS4 is slim to nill. They obviously intend on still attempting to make the game though or they wouldn't have bought the rights back. Sony obviously sold it back to recoup some loses though
A Sword Art Online VR title was being hinted at last month but it was just a concept demo sort of thing.
IBM wanted to show off some new cloud thing they're doing

WKC 3 period would make me happy
Would you be able to invite people from other consoles on to you game session though? They would have to have a secondary online name sign up like a few games have

It made 325 million in its first 5 days
I'd say Destiny did better considering the difference in install at the time of release BUT then I remembered that Destiny also released on PS3 and Xbox 360. The Division is on PS4 PS3 and PC only. Not really sure how to compare them in this scenario with actual ...
I'm in a similar boat, just waiting it out.
The game itself is great, it just needs those updates
I don't think it SFV, Driveclub or Titanfall should really be on this list.
Hmm, expected more from Ubisoft
Off topic but
Ever since hearing this I keep thinking
I wanna have Xbox Vs PS4 fights in Destiny
Maybe X1 will get FF14 now too, the closed network was the main reason why Square left them out.
I agree, even a game that we have heard about would make more sense on the list (Horizon)
Even features like Communities, Share Play and video capture/uploading define the PS4.
It's way too early to make a list now, more features and games will release in the coming years that could blow our minds.
My thoughts exactly
I don't get why some of you are saying "4k blu-ray", do you not realize a 4k movie would take up waaaay more space than would fit on a blu-ray disc? I mean like 150Gb to 260Gb for a two hour movie.
The 4k support would be specifically for digital files in the media player and streaming from places like Netflix, Youtube etc.
