Well it is an HD port of a Wii game after all.
All PSN PSP titles. Birth by Sleep and Crisis Core were never allowed to be put on PSN by Square Enix and I believe Disney had a hand in the Kingdom Hearts one.
I wouldn't mind more viewing angles/more reliable 3D too. I get a lot of ghosting in Ocarina of Time when there's high contrast, Mario hasn't had much of an issue with its vibrant colors. But yeah, there isn't anything totally major I want to see in a revision.
You forgot "Something with boobies in the thumbnail" :)
Despite what the doom and gloom articles on here may spout, the 3DS has actually sold very very well (over 15 million); especially after Monster Hunter, Mario, Mario Kart and Resident Evil have come out. If anything, the 3DS has shown that the portable game market is still just as alive and smart phones are more of a new market than invading into the real handheld console market.
It's on the page when you click "pre-sold at select retail locations"

If the controller relies on power from the PS3 that it doesn't get until the console is on, it can't possibly turn it on, as all of its buttons are non-responsive. Even with USB wireless 3rd party controllers, the USB receiver would not have any power to receive the command to turn the system on.
As Vortex3D pointed out, this won't change unless Sony allows 3rd party blutooth controllers. Which I really couldn't care less about.
Yeah in the comics he uses those stun batons too.
Agreed, people are pretty stupid. Amazon and others realized the system wasn't coming out this year so they changed their made up date of 31/12/11 to the end of the 2011 FISCAL year 31/3/12
Has anyone used these? Do they tint your vision yellow? I sometimes have trouble with contrast while playing games due to my eyes, if these really would help without coating my game experience in yellow I might consider getting them.
Crapcom probably just doesn't want to actually have to make a Monter Hunter with good graphics (HD remakes of PSP games don't count) so they went with a "current gen" platform with last gen graphics.
So much awesome for this system!!
I Pledge to Go Commando On September 20th
No actually the WiiU doesn't have offset analogs (circle pads), but they're also so far apart that it doesn't matter for your complaint.
I personally never have my thumbs touch, I didn't even think that was the reason Microsoft went with that design (not saying it isn't, but it didn't pop in my head as a reason personally)
I own both consoles and game on both quite frequently, the only complaint I have about either controller is the 3...
That's actually what Return of the Jedi was originally called. Name was changed even after movie posters were made with that title.
You can download the games to the pro-duo card via computer or PS3. I believe you can use the USB hook up to plug your PSP straight to the source of choice but I could be wrong, I have a card slot so I've never tried.
Yeah, I agree. It kinda got to me a little when all the father had to say was that gaming was the kid's life. That isn't the games' fault, it's the parents' for not doing something to change that.
Gaming for every waking minute of your free time is not healthy for the human body or mind. And that's not a fault on gaming, the same is true of a lot of things because if you obsess over one thing with all of your free time you will lose touch with the rest...
I have actually overheard people say that the 3DS is "just a DS that makes stuff 3D" and directed their friend/child to the cheaper DS that has more games. Nintendo under-estimates the casual gaming market they fostered when it comes to naming stuff so similar. The Wii U will undoubtedly have similar issues.
3DS isn't a new "model" of DS, it's a new system. PSP is one system, 3DS another. Just because the 3DS has backwards compatibility doesn't make it just another model.
The article has the two pictures flip flopping all over. Some say the stick version is after and some pictures point to the stick one as before (which is correct).
I actually prefer the before one for more than just the sticks. It also has an ergonomic bottom half for better grip.
