Let's just ask ourselves a question. If you were an apple engineer and your super secret prototype phone went 'missing' what's the more likely story you're going to try and sell to your bosses; A: I got drunk at a German beer bar and lost my super secret prototype iphone or B: Someone stole my super secret prototype iphone while I was enjoying a beer... In moderation of course. Yeah... Anyone who believes this phone was stolen is kidding themselves. Didn't the phone work for hours after it wa...

Dedicated, huh? What about all the people without access to high speed internet? Putting in the long hours prior to giving your ok to a final product would have been dedicated.

It's one review... One persons opinion... I played the demo and can agree with some of the points that were made. I for one felt some of the dialogue and voice acting detracted from the overall experience. I however still have it preordered and will purchase it to support what I see as a welcome departure from the norm. You fanboys need to get a life and GFY. Disagree away because it hurts so bad... Ha ha!

Mandatory installations are the price the PS3 pays for using Blu-ray. I thought it was already well documented that the main reason for mandatory installations is do to the reduced disc read speed of the Blu-ray drive. Mandatory installations negate the constant streaming of data off the disc, correct? However, time and time again when this issue comes up I have to read countless posts about how it improves the performance of the overall game. I think there are enough well documented examples...

Seems like a good idea ONLY if they start packaging it with a headset. I was interested in the game but don't currently have a headset and have no desire to purchase one. I'm sure there are others who feel the same. If true, not a smart move by Zipper and Sony. Seems like it would do nothing but hurt sales.

Like a number of people on here, any hype I had for the game was quickly erased after I actually downloaded and played the beta. Just wasn't impressed with any aspect of the game. I think there's going to be a lot of very disappointed people out there in the near future. Aside from the 256 players this game screams mediocrity. I'll pick up Heavy Rain instead.

I'm just not sure how you would be able to remake it? Would you change the dialogue to make it more in tune with rpgs today? In doing so I would think the game would lose some of the charm that made it such an amazing experience to begin with. Do you add spoken dialogue? You would have to essentially re-imagine the entire game. I'm sure it would be fantastic, however I'm just not sure it would be Final Fantasy VII anymore.

I've said it before and I'll day it again. At the end of the day I would not be surprised at all to see bayonetta get reviewed better than god of war 3. The gow3 demo was good but it just felt like more of the same. I'm definitely buying it day one but can honestly say that I think I'll have more fun with bayonetta. We shall see.

I think a lot of you may be missing the point. I think Natal will be used in conjunction with a controller in most games. Think playing a fps and physically leaning slightly to look around a corner, the manipulation of in game objects with your hand, throwing a grenade by just making a throwing motion, a melee attack by physically throwing a quick hook. I think there's tons of potential if done correctly. I just see the playstation wand improving on the wii experience.

Listen guys, I have both a ps3 and an xbox 360. I use the same calibration settings for both systems through hdmi. My samsung tv uses the low hdmi setting with the ps3 set to limited and the xbox 360 set to standard. This and only this is the correct setting for both of these consoles through a tv. Expanded and RGB full are for monitors and nothing else. Some multiplatform games just tend to look washed out on the PS3. That's just life. It has nothing to do with the settings. Quit trying to b...

But I thought you guys didn't care about backwards compatibility...? "It's not needed.", and "Why would I want to play a last generation game when there are so many awesome games right now?" Sound familiar? You guys are comical:)

I'm a fan of Jaffe's games, however I have to disagree with his position. I paid 60 dollars for the game. All parties involved got paid. What I choose to do with it from that point on is my business. Does he think that when you buy anything 'used' in life whether it be a car, furniture, or whatever that the original manufacturer gets a check in the mail. What makes video games any different?
