This article really isn't worth the read, most "disappointments" listed are a bit sad, stating things like "Where are the indies?" For the past 2 E3 the majority of games shown were Indie games so its nice to see a change.
As for PS Vita, sells are a reflection of Demand, No one is buying a Vita and you can't say it wasn't marketed well when it first came out, they even pushed it hard when PS4 came out and shown how you can use Remote Play (...
This Conference was everything I could hope for. Finally a release date for TLG. A new God of War with Norse Mythology which I'm super excited for. VR at a reasonable price with 50 games at launch is nice. The new Resident Evil actually looks enjoyable this time around, Horizon Zero Dawn looks like it's gonna be a great game with a good story, Days Gone is a nice take for our annual zombie game, Crash coming back is nice though not in the way most wanted, I mean the start of the Confe...
I think for as much shit as Destiny has gotten, it's the only game in recent memory that I can remember buying 2 years ago and still play on a daily basis. Not to say their aren't other great games out there that have this same playability but let's be honest here, people keep being drawn back to Destiny which was exactly their plan where as the other games on this list can't even sell in the bargain bin
This seems like a really sad attempt to bash the Playstation brand in some way. Articles are complaining that the PS4K is an insult to games and everything but fail to figure out that playstation has been producing model changes (which is what this is, not a new console) since the ps2 era. even look at the time line on the ps3 and you'll realize that it's about time they came out with a variant to the ps4
ps3 original console released in 2006
ps3 slim relea...
I would love for them to begin working on The Last of Us 2 but only if they do it in the years prior to meeting ellie and seeing how Joel handled the world as it crumbled and watching the rise up of the Fireflies and all.
It could be portrayed as almost this depressing tail of his fall into depression after the lost of his daughter and the rise of him becoming this survivor man
Speaking in general as I do not own an Xbone nor have I played this game.
After reading and watching gameplay on this game I agree it's a visually stunning game, that much is true and while some things get repeative and boring it should also be pointed out that right now in the gaming industry they are trying to put out too many fires, if they graphics aren't up to pair then people bitch, if the frame rate isn't consistent then people bitch, if the mechanics are s...
okay let's say you bought everything at the $645 price point and played this game everyday since launch (sept 9th 2014)
$645 divided by 522 days = $1.24 (rounded up) a day
$645 divided by 12528 hours (since launch) = $0.05 an hour
now if you did same math using the $315 price point (which is more likely for some people) then the figures would be as follows
$315 divided by 522 days = $0.60 (rounded) a day
$315 divided by 12...
I would love to see RockSteady take on Superman...not that the 64 Gold Ring edition wasn't one the the greatest games of all-time (sarcasm)
or some lesser known characters would be good to build from such as Iron Fist or Luke Cage or a game focused on establishing The Avengers
Black Panther work make good gameplay if it adapted the fighting style of batman's games
Or even an Ant-man/Giant man game would go over well
It's funny how everyone keeps blaming Bungie, Blaming Bungie but everyone knows Activision is one of the worst publishers of all time. They have a long history of taking great games and turning them into utter garage.
I doubt this is really Destiny's fault and is more of contract issue.
I have read and listened to a lot of Destiny's old concepts. It really could have been an industry changing game on many levels but Activision cares more about ma...
Honestly if I had to give my answer I would say that I haven't stopped playing per say but the joy is definitely gone. It's become an endless grindfest for contain that shouldn't really be a grindfest. Though but honestly I don't blame Destiny for this so much as I do Activision, The Game we were shown originally at E3 probably would have been a much better delight and after hearing podcasts Destiny sounds like an amazing game that just didn't pan out.
It...
@lovethenoob
technically destiny does have an offline mode, it's just strictly for open world exploring and story mode. you can do things such as Strikes, Crucible, Raids or public events but the rest of the content is unlocked if you don't have internet. Now the server issue is definitely a problem
I miss the day where games were made to enjoy the game. now it's all industrialized. Companies are trying to justified why they paid a million dollars for a soundtrack composer that most people just listen to music or chat over. Better yet releasing a game and then releasing DLC for the game on the same day.
I mean more companies should follow nintendos trend. Make a simple game and overload the market with that game's main character (Mario & Pikachu) instead of c...
I've yet to try that combination yet. I love my taikonaut helmet+ rockets, Immolation Fists + sunbreaker and No Backup Plans+ Defender & Shotty
see the sad point is...if I did 'put down the controller, go outside, and socialize with real people' than there is a very likely chance I'll have to deal with a prick such as yourself. I'd much rather choose the 'real people' I meet across different video games than come across some 35-year old whose complaining about other people's opinions in real life.
This type of stuff only gives me more respect for Sony, even last-gen when they were behind and Microsoft controlled every aspect of gaming (like how Sony does now)they didn't resort to these tactics and honestly if I was EA, I would probably go after Microsoft for subliminally advertising their game without paying for advertising rights. It seems childish on Microsoft's part.
I would definitely recommend the Taikonaut for the Titan class, probably the best helmet they offer right now for year 2 content
I think this is a really cool thing Bungie is doing to give this a more RPG feel to the game, I would love for them to continue this trend of such events as Festival of the Light (a tribute to Christmas/kwanzaa/hanukka)or Yearly celebrations of the Game and Bungie Day
I believe as this game expands and people quit comparing it to annual FPS releases and start coming it to more computer based RPGs then this game will seem a lot better.
I mean everyone downplay...
I find it funny how many people rave about the MP, how good the MP is and how we should appreciate that and not really focus so much on the Campaign.
But yet if you take the Campaign out of game then it would probably never sell as good
and everyone is raving about how the metacritics give this an 85+ like that should be the ultimate thing to determine if the game is good or not. I mean Diablo 3 got rave reviews when it first came out and would you really wa...
While visually this was a gorgeous game, I didn't really care for it. Plus seeing others reactions it makes me question how things like this get sequels but other games never get green lighted
I live in a Rural Area in South Carolina that is actually full of History about our Cherokee heritage, Civil War momuments and Germany founders but no one really looks at the status, reads the synopsis etc. but now that's to Pokémon Go there are kids and adults out in this area. I read about General John A Wagner while sitting at a PokeStop. I've Visited the Heritage center and learned about the 3 towns in our county while at a PokeStop and got to see some of the buildings being ...
