It's a full fledge multiplayer game as is but the campaign is like a tutorial for it. Don't expect much. But with what's coming on top of that, pretty impressive. It's not a beta in any way given how polished it is.

Well, team deathmatch is super simple and it's still played.
I'm a Battlefield main, but the series has never had more sales or more concurrent players than COD.
I guess we'll find out next week with the open beta which as 80.
Hmm... I don't think this particular discussion is about solo campaign play since it's about player counts. But I do like oranges more than apples.
There's no charge to play online for PC, for any of the Battlefield releases. Explain.
I had my EA Origin account hacked, and sold to someone else. I couldn't access any games for a week until EA Support got it sorted out. When I got it back, I see that that hacker had blocked the accounts of all my friends so they wouldn't ever see the new owner of my account.
That image spells "Scarlet" with only one "L". Fail.
Loot boxes + more microtrasnactions + terrible event pass + poor performance + MORE microtransactions = this game needs to replaced.

Disappointing that this isn't an 'evolution' of the franchise, but same stuff as before. They confirmed new core game for 2019 though so maybe they'll go 3D with that one?
