I got disgustingly lucky with Ornstein and Smough and beat them first time. And then spent like a week with the very next boss.
You know DS2 is for current gen right?
YES
Great read.
HOW MUCH IS SONY PAYING YOU GUYS FOR THESE COMMENTS? WAIT, NO HOW MUCH IS MICROSOFT PAYING SONY. NO, I'M CONFUSED. HOW SONY IS PAYING MICROSOFT FOR GAME ARTICLE? NO WAIT HOW
Writer here. I don't really like Forza either, I have no brand loyalty. But Forza honestly handles far better.
Yep. We disagree over a word. Please leave gaming.
Great piece!
'proof'
Sir, I have no idea what you're trying to tell me, but I love your zeal.
I find saying 'I bet you like Call of Duty' is a bit like bringing up the Nazis in a debate. Predictable, blanket statement-y and overly simplistic.
I won't be a whinging internet troll, but I will be honest.
Didn't really find any of this particularly amusing, and I could think of a decent reason for each point's existence. I won't list them, but it just seemed to be a bit of a redundant article.
Must agree. It's only gone further down the 'action stealth' road in Brotherhood onwards, since that 'momentum' combat makes it a piece of cake to dispatch 10 or so guards.
I'm not a review basher, so I'm not gonna go out and complain that you gave MW3 a 10/10 (though I think most would agree that's a little much), but it seems very double standard-y that you would give it a perfect score even though you believe it's 'the same game you played back in 2007'. That's precisely enough of a reason to knock off a point or three. Don't build something up just to say it needs to stop asap.
Well, I can't deny I fucked up there.
Instead of making some vague and unfounded attempt at social commentary, why don't you just think about what fans of Max Payne might actually be thinking. I for one loved the hell out of both Max Payne games, and the long-awaited and much delayed sequel is doing a lot of things that could potentially ruin everything about the series. Is it really so wrong for fans to be concerned? Or do you treat all games with a sense of apathetic complacency?
Article writer here. I agree with both Dmd and Dragonknight. The combat system, while it has its cool animations and, since the update in Brotherhood, has that pseudo free-flowing feel, it's actually pretty stale and most of the time I'd rather just run away, since fights pretty much circulate around just countering. However, I wouldn't like it quite so much like Arkham, since as DragonKnight said, that too is just countering/bashing attack.
Yo, writer here.
Just to say it's cool you giving your opinion and stuff, but I'm not sure if you realise I'm talking about the differences between BFBC2 and BF3, not BF2 and BF3. Maybe that's what you meant by BF2, I'm not sure, I'm just clarifying.
Everyone else, thanks for the response, positive and negative. Especially you Mrsatan, you do your thing and let no one stop you.
This is the most fedora-esque comment I've ever seen
