The only rumor I want to come true is the PS3 price drop.

If those games get good scores I will probably buy a PS3. I have wanted one for a few months now for a cheap blu-ray player, so add in a few great games and I will be convinced.
Whats gonna happen when the 360 price drops to match it and keeps it still $200 more?
MS will always have the price advantage due to it being out a year early. So if your looking for a price drop for it to surpase the 360 you will be waiting in vein.

If you think the only game the 360 has comming this holiday is Halo 3, then your in some serious denial.
The PS3 will not sell 10 million units by the end of the year. With the lineup of games the 360 has comming before this holiday and possibly a price drop. Whoever wants to try and deny this fact can, but they will be denying facts. Also considering that FF or MGS will be well into next year before they release, what exactly is going to sell the ps3 this holiday for $600 a pop (without HD Cables)?
Its too bad you suck at sims because forza has the most realistic physics to date. If you want any proof of the facts just read all the reviews. Of course none of that matters to you because no matter what game comes out your the type of person that will always say GT is better than anything else so why even bother.
It sucks if you suck at simulation racing games. I can understand people with bad hand eye coordination dont have the skills to handle this game. No worries there are lots of easy games out there for you to play.
Gears Of War and Rainbow Six:Vegas should be on this list at least somewhere.
I've had this game since launch but I haven't been able to play it because i am on a trip. Hopefully I will be home in a few days to get into this game. I absolutely loved the demo and from the reviews im sure i will be very addicted to this game.
I can't wait for Mass Effect and Bioshock, these 2 games look awsome!
BTW: For those interested in Mass Effect, there is prequel book out called Mass Effect Revelation. It will give you a good idea of how the universe of Mass Effect came to be. Its also a very good Sci-Fi read if anyone is interested.

The average Joe working class American could give a rats ass about where the player was assembled or where the parts come from. When they see the cheap price tag and say "Wow thats a great price i can afford this!", they will buy it vs the more expensive option. Why do you think they sell so many of those cheap brands of HDTV's.
If you have purchased Blu-ray or HD-DVD movies you can still watch them on the player you have even if either of the format fails. To hear some people talk its like if the format is not successful the movies you own will expire and not be viewable anymore.
I think they will probably drop the prices of all three sku's by this holiday season.
Core = $199.99
Pro = $299.99
Elite = $399.99
