ok so I managed to jump into a game and right away I could tell the difference, the hit detection is pretty f**king smooth right now. I actually had fun for once! Going to keep testing and see if things hold up....wish me luck. lol

since these problems are so pervasive on Sony's plat, as you claim I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult for you to link to some of these over 200 articles that highlight these problematic issues on the PS3.
the input lag with KZ3 was intentional to give the character movements a more realistic feel to it.
it doesn't affect all players.
All these companies are to blame not just Apple so lets keep this on topic. Apple has gotten more than their share of the negative press over the lasts few weeks on this issue so now it's everybody else's turn.
Moncole please read up on the issues before you make a comment like that, it just makes you look like a heartless assh*le. And I know that you're not because, well you're a gamer and we're not like that. These are good people, hardworking people, that make our hobby possible to please have some respect for them and educate yourself on the issue.

You should also allocate some of that blame to the U.S. government for not extending U.S. labor laws overseas to U.S. based companies. But of course profit trumps all, so...

Sad but true. If Valve debuts a Steam box the consoles are in deep sh*t.
And the proof of what he's saying is sitting right here next to me, it's my gaming PC. A console just couldn't offer me the experience that I was looking for. This is the experience that I was looking for and it's only going to get better when nextgen hits.

*vendor lock-in is a bad thing boys and girls. It's bad when MS does it, Apple and yes even Sony.
this beats vanilla skyrim without question but when you install ENB's mod, and all the HD texture upgrades, it looks a hell of a lot better than this.
