I'm sure 99% of them will end up on ebay. I know mine would. Gotta save up for the NGP!

Is Nintendo not at all capable of making a new hit IP? This is why I consider it a child's console. Only the children will be excited for these *new* games. They're fun but it gets old.

Used game sells will be an urban legend in the future. I don't care that I get to keep the game forever. I will never want to play through Black Ops storyline ever again and multiplayer is easily replaceable.
Buy the NGP and hack it as soon as one becomes available. Then load your entire ps2 collection onto it1
That's assuming Sony includes a ps2 emulator on it which I'm sure they eventually will.
I would buy Deadly Descents just to have SSX 3 in HD.

My 40GB YLOD. I reset the solder in the cpu with a heat gun and it worked again. Crazy that firing a couple hundred degrees of heat onto the cpu would fix it.
I promptly ran to Gamestop with it and got $200 credit which I used to buy a new 120GB slim model. I was about to upgrade the hard drive so I avoided that cost and got a slim for just $100!
Some poor soul bought that ps3, but that's what you get for buying used at Gamestop.
It's not good for your ps3 if you do that after playing because of the rapid cooling. It risks creating cracks in the circuitry. Doing it after it's been off for an hour is just fine.

Bad controls? I went from Black Ops to Killzone 3 without a problem. A lot better than Killzone 2. The campaign was fun, but yeah the story needed something else.
Games are doing fine in the US. Sure the press might blame them occasionally, but NOTHING has come out of the drama.
Australia however, people are insane with protecting the public from inappropriate content. I can't believe they don't have an R18 rating. It would be like the US not having the M rating, and any games that were above T would stay unrated.
