Probably because HZD is amazing
I loved the museum sequence and it was a nice change of pace from the violence and mayhem. Having said that, it's not anywhere near even the top 10 best moments of the game imo. I know you, and others, have made it clear your dissatisfaction of the game but I just can't understand why.
Most people that don't like the game are upset that it tried to tell a new story. The game had a lot of alignment with the previous game but also a lot of newness. Characters cha...

Another excuse that needs to stop. Guerrilla games made HZD with a brand new engine, not to mention an entirely new IP. They did all of this, on base PS4 hardware and made a game that looks generations better than Halo Infinite. Oh and HZD is OPEN WORLD!
So the build between 2 and 3 weeks old. Wow, very substantial /s
That's verifiably wrong. 4 months, in the midst of 5 years is nothing. You're forgetting the amount of time needed for gold certification, stamping, marketing, shipping etc. They realistically have around 2 months for polish, which is nothing. Sorry to burst your bubble, but what we saw in the reveal footage is what you're going to get. Ray tracing will not much either.
Can't wait to see this game in action. I can't believe how beautiful HZD was and HFW is going to be breathtaking.
Oh boy, here we go again with the damage control. It's not even good damage control though. Some fans wanted more of a CE artstyle, nobody asked for the game to look like shit. Artstyle and bad graphics are not mutually exclusive. Pyro, dude, most people (including Halo fans) are underwhelmed with the recent debut footage. Get over it.
This must be the new build that 343 supposedly has 🤣
Not a chance! Besides, I would hate to see another great series die from Microsoft control.
Sorry, but no. The X1X had a much larger increase in power over the PS4 Pro and games looked nearly identical. The XSX has an even smaller difference in power over the PS5. With these facts in mind, you still think we're going to see much of a difference? I'll save you the suspense, they won't. I'll take nearly identical looking multiplats AND higher quality AAA exclusives with the PS5, thanks.
@pickled
What a incredibly irrelevant rant that has nothing to do with the conversation. I'm sorry that you found the likely game of the generation "boring." That's your opinion but, honestly, who cares? The game is universally praised in the industry. HZD is also a positively received game. Can't say the same about the Halo Infinite gameplay debut.
@pyro
What exactly did I make up? Besides a few crashed ships and ...
@pyro
Pot meet kettle
It's no secret that I game mainly on PS but I'm still a fan of Halo and other titles that reside on consoles other than PS. Having said that, I can still spot a terrible looking game when I see one. Your pathetic attempts at damage control are very telling. I see you're using every damage control talking point that's getting thrown around and it's really a shame. It's okay to be critical of games and this is a...
@pyro
"Various points of interest" Lol I hope you're kidding. Aside from a few dots on the interactive map, there's almost nothing of interest shown in the gameplay. It's the most evident when MC is heading up the lift. It's a lifeless valley with mostly scenery and a couple crashed ships. A common gripe about the presentation was that the world looks bland and lifeless. Try again
I don't see the relation. Far Cry is all about stealth and exploration. Infinite is not truly open world and judging by how empty the level was, it doesn't seem to be big on exploration either.
It's sad that this type of article even exists. Deceptive much Microsoft?
No, it was pretty bad. Most gaming publications are in agreement that it was bad. They did absolutely nothing to entice people to "jump in" and as you can clearly see just from this comment section that even Xbox fans were highly dissatisfied with the showing.
My prediction is a 70-75 metacritic rating.
You have fun with those barebone GaaS and microtransaction riddled games coming down the Xbox pipeline. I'll take critically acclaimed, AAA exclusives any day of the week.
Does that justify a 5/10 though? I'll give you a hint....the answer is no. A 5/10 is borderline unplayable. GoT is clearly not anywhere near this category. It's fine to have opinions about this game but let's not pretend this review doesn't have an agenda. VG charts was caught fabricating sales data in the past to prop up Xbox 360 sales, they are a known anti-Sony website.
People are intelligent with iPhone models? Not even close. I'm willing to be that, besides apple diehards, most people would fail miserably with naming and identifying various models. No it to mention that a large portion of console buyers are parents that are not into gaming and will be completely lost in the circus that is Xbox names.
