If the formula is the same and every reiteration has basically the same perks, why do they need to make one every year and why do idiots keep buying the same game? Are you sure you're not confusing patches with expansions. There have only been 3 expansions for WoW so far. The Burning Crusade, Wrath of The Litch King and Cataclysm. I see 3, not millions. 3 expansions since 2004.
