I can certainly blow through the game in that time now, but not the first time through.
I remember my first ff7 run was around 40 hours as well.
edit @littlebigsackboy: fair enough. you must not waste any time, heh. I suppose it's really useless for a developer to say how long the game will be unless it's absurdly short.

Fair enough. I figured people would disagree, which is why I apologized in advanced. I just hate how the mainstream media looks down on gamers, suggesting that we are uneducated and/or not ambitious. I feel that egregious errors in elementary school grammar were not helping the cause. But if no one agrees with me I won't mention it again. I enjoy this site, and will keep my mouth shut, I guess.

I'm not sure why it's so hard for people to understand that split screen is HUGEEE for some people.
If you game completely alone, then that's fine. it makes no difference.
but if you life or hang out with people on a regular basis, it's huge.

I think this review is spot on.
I got it for psp, and really liked it. it never really felt like a full fledged ratchet game on psp, but rather a taste or ratchet on the go. the core gameplay is familiar and solid enough. cutscenes are still good with the same voices and dialog, you still get a good bit of the ratchet satisfaction from the big games, but certainly not a full substitute for the other games.
However, on psp, getting the ratchet feel on the small screen feels remar...
After RFOM, I'm pretty sure people were criticizing the game because the narration made Hale's character difficult to connect with.
Also people were saying how SO many shooters were the same old gray in color, "generic" in a sense. In fact, that was a huge criticism of Gears of War as well.
Insomniac took those criticisms and changed it for R2. They axed the narration, gave Hale a voice, and made the environments less one-note. Now people are criticizing what they chan...
