Well in the uk it's a pretty busy day but in say france everything i shut.
well as places were selling the slim at sub 200 pounds with games bundled I'm not surprised.
For anyone to get a ban, people had to report it
If Microsoft had similar issue with one S at launch then I never heard of it.... But that suggests to me it's the TV manufacturers at fault even if they wont fix it and Sony will have to via a patch.
They both claimed to be on 10 year paths. Thus the competition just ended.
@ciporta1980: ummm dude wtf? If you were playing a coop game online then every game supports voice chat? Yeah ps3 didn't have ingame voice party chat. But you were playing coop so YOU WERE IN THE SAME GAME. Get better at trolling ir just dint bother....
@moldybread considering Sony have many games and have for years that have had multiplatform with pc. There must be a good reason why they don't have support with the chess game for Nintendo. It's probably related to Nintendo at current having an online gaming network that runs very differently to the competitors and possibly security concerns. I know Sony allow a title to have messaging within it etc but for security reasons and coding reasons parties and invites can't be expecte...
And as they still haven't won worldwide it's increasing steadily.
A .
Fat as I'm aware it's just skyrim and it's like a 1-2fps difference. Without analysis tools you couldn't tell.
It's clearlt Bethesda being lazy although it's a 1fps difference.... Not quite sure it was worth of an article.
I'd argue even if it could do it natively the power would be being wasted doing so. Far better to use it on frame rate and improving graphical fidelity- which are likely to have a bigger impact on image quality than the native vs checkerboard rendering techniques.
3 weeks ish to get it running using checkerboard cerny reckoned. I personally think all games should use it going forwards, the difference to native is near unnoticeable, it allows for the saved power to go into better AA, shadows, lighting and/or keeping the frame rate stable or even increasing it. I'd take those things which ultimately are likely to produce a more noticeable increase in image quality of compared to a non-checkerboard image without them.
You realise that there is a massive difference between standard upscaling and the checkerboard technique in terms of image quality. As digital foundry said the checkerboard is near indifferent from native, you can only tell if you stand inches from the screen and have a sharp eye. Standard upscaling is noticeable at a distance,
Senorfartcushion well here in uk,GAME have a trade in deal and it's pretty decent tbh
It was, but not named and not speced. They had the prototype and made no concrete claims on what the final version would be like
*Theoretically Perform aswell as scorpio. However as it is running Windows etc I imagine that's pretty accurate.
@mastercornholio yes. Supersampling, some games will include options like watch dogs and mass effect will apparently use the checkerboard method to produce 1080p with far higher graphics settings as the native image and checkerboard method are barely distinguishable from one another.
"chequerboard technique ubisoft has been using for years" fairly sure it's fairly new technology actually.... Software that Sony helped develop. They also have another means og producing a 4k image.... I forget what it's called but it's discussed in mark cents digital foundry interview. Let's not forget that places like digital foundry and CNET all swear that it's almost completely indistinguishable from native 4k and even suggested that the power saved not doing...
PSX on friday....
