I'm getting vita day one and I absolutely love metal gear solid, but In my honest opinion, I dont think the two games mentioned in the article are cut out for a portable experience. I don't see a point in playing MGS without experiencing the epic cut scenes, Not saying they aren't included, just saying I don't think I'll be comfortable watching them on the move. I know I'll get disagrees but this is how I feel regardless of my unconditional love for the MGS series.
Why did I get 5 disagrees? All I said was we might get the demo soon. It's not on Xbox live or PSN in UK, prove otherwise.
I am stoked for the ps vita and most of its games but I will go out of my way and say that this game doesn't do ps vita any justice, I understand it's pre alpha but damn look at how the frames dip, just don't show this game until its near completion, I like resistance and I dont want a shoddy spinoff.
Maybe it's coming this Tuesday on Xbox Live and PSN

As much as I like god of war 4 or uncharted 4 to be launch titles, I believe it simply won't happen, they won't roll out the big guns until PS4 has sold well enough to make substantial profit out of those titles.
I'm new to this site so I don't know how to reply directly to the replies on my original post. What I have made very clear is that hacking is "part of the problem" as to why the original psp failed, you also have to look at the audience the DS and PSP had/has, DS without shadow of a doubt was sold to either a much younger audience or casual gamers, the psp in comparison was the handheld gamers of all ages craved. one of the reasons psp failed was due to the damn hackers, I'm not saying it's completely their fault but they're part of the problem when it comes to gaming. Leave the vita and gaming in general alone dear hackers/pirates, whatever you call em.

Mate don't get confused, I'm up for console Quality portable games, but MGS is a bit heavy on its cutscenes, hence I believe it's not the perfect title for a portable system but its always good to have that option. I agree with you otherwise :)
