It really wouldn't matter what console LBP was on exclusively, it's still a rental at best for most people.
It's amazing and innovative and does things that haven't been done in a while and does them in whole new ways. That's what had everyone looking forward to SPORE so much also. New and different don't automatically make a game good or keep you coming back.

not very pretty on either console honestly. Not that it was an ugly game at all. It was amazing for a Grand Theft Auto but both versions had serious problems. I completed the game on both and the 360 version stuttered and had bad pop in issues at high speeds but the ps3 version looked way too gritty and dark so the more stable frame rate didn't make it any better.
The demo was fun but it didn't seem worth the purchase to me. It felt like a upgraded version of Jedi Power Battles.
The thing is that the only things being held back by the competition are game length and overall limit of game data. The PS3 isn't better in the graphics department in any way.
You get better draw distance due to the use of AF or whatever smoothing/filtering process they're using instead of AA, that's a plus. You can also have a lot more going on on the screen at any given time at a smooth rate due to cells power, also pretty awesome.

I own a PS3 a 360 and a PC actually and finished uncharted twice in a row right after it released last year. I've played and beaten around 30 games on my ps3 alone including all the exclusives except LAIR. I'm typing this while wearing a MGS4 shirt. I don't care about MS or Sony, I like games. This is just one of those games that a lot of people will hate but the people who like it will love it with flaws and all. I didn't find it unplayable at all I actually enjoyed playing it.
The driving bits could have been a little better and the camera was bad at times but the combat and the inventory combinations made up for any frustrating moments to me. If they clean it up a little and add trophy support I'd definitely replay it on PS3.
I wasn't expecting anything. I was hoping for more than four hours of gameplay and the price wasn't an issue. I'm still going to get it either way. Also I've had my ps3 since launch.
