As long as they keep it at that I'm fine with it. The chance of winning a cosmetic item after a win adds to the game imo
I had already pre-ordered it for my sons birthday and he thinks the game is loads of fun. He doesn't care about progression or scoreboards and just want to play as Yoda and Darth Vader. I think it took the weekend until he could unlock those two characters so for him it's all good.
Looks like a poor mans Wipeout
Sure, Moss looks cool and B&T looks like it can be a bit of fun, even though there's no free movement but the game I'm really looking forward to is Firewall. I don't get hyped for much these days but Firewall have me searching the internet for everything I can find about it
What's wrong in the way a game like R6 Siege does it?
You get a certain percentage probability to roll a loot crate after each game. If you don't get it, your percentage increases and if you do the percentage reset and you get a cosmetic item for you characters or weapons. I see no wrong in it what so ever
What is this sorcery? An E3 trailer from Ubisoft that's not massively downgraded at launch?
It's only so he can find a ridiculous way to shit on it afterwards
Not even those vomit inducing Batmobile sessions that you couldn't skip? I got so sick of driving around that I just watched walkthroughs to see how it ended
No Deus Ex or no Silent Hill 2, this list is moot
The amount of space required for more than one player on the same machine isn't something the majority of gamers have so I don't really see that happening.
This is going to be great, I can feel it
@kribwalker: Being an owner of the PSVR I of course try to find as much information about it and it's games as possible. None of the previews I've read, listened to or watched have mentioned anything about "garbage" graphics or "complete dumpster fire" which instantly makes me wary about anything this guy has to say and therefore rather listen to the other guy who played it which impression falls more in line with the majority.
The biggest grief ...
PSVR is not bad at all. What we have here is a demo of a game not built for VR that's still in development to adapt it to VR.
Look at games like Dirt VR, Dick Wilde, Farpoint, Resident Evil 7 and so on and you'll see what the PSVR can do :-)
VR is the future and the future is already here with PSVR, Rift and Vive
It's the fireball spell from the game, but in the demo you have infinite mana and unlimited health meaning you can dish it out forever if you want.
Hahaha
They will allow you to push the move button and then tilt the Move controller to move around, so it won't just be teleporting with the Moves.
If it works similar to how it worked in The Fight on PS3 I'm happy.
I can't even play Dirt Rally in flat mode after trying it in VR. It just isn't possible to measure distance to the corner, see the apex or sensing your speed the same way on a flat screen as in VR.
Who cares that the fence shimmers with aliasing? Who cares that the game only renders half your car? You're too busy preparing your car for the next corner entry
I guess you haven't tried games like Dirt Rally, Superhot, Farpoint, Dick Wilde, Windlands, Batman VR, Onwards and so on and so on in VR yet.
Crappier graphics than on flat games? Sure, Does it matter? Not one bit when you are IN the game.
Because Driveclub was a 30fps game converted into an 60fps and of course great sacrifices had to be made.
Look at the other racing port, Dirt Rally. It's controlling great, feels great and looks great for being in VR where the graphics takes backseat to the added immersion.
He probably can't, but he can state that 70% of all games with lootboxes will do it.. smh
