Wii Sports WAS fun when it first came out maybe. I remember playing with my little sister a lot but it gets old quick. Really quick. If Wii Sports is still one of your favorite games and you're willing to go to the extremes of defending it on a forum, I don't want to see your collection of games.

I'm sorry but as a gamer for some 15 years, if the Wii is your primary gaming machine besides PC, PS3, 360, etc.. chances are you're a little kid, old person, or a GF/girl.

See, I followed your argument and even nodded my head until.. that last part. Considering my PS3 has a great collection of games that is quickly growing even bigger.. I just bought LBP, Fallout 3, Farcry 2 and Resistance 2 beta has me DROOLING (IGN 9.5 anyone?). What's wrong with a reliable gaming machine AS WELL as a Blu-ray player? It's funny that you like to throw the word fanboy around when your comment reeks of it. I have never tried Siren but Wipeout is a great game for the money.. you forgot to mention it's not even half the price of a full retail game. You get what you paid for.
You mention MGS like it's nothing, LBP is arguably the highest reviewed scored of this GENERATION but of course, you're only looking into it because of your "sister." I have not heard one negative...
It might bring down the graphics a bit but expanding the audience to 360/PS3 players won't bring the quality down, it'll expand it. I would love to see this on consoles.
Same here, PS3 all the way. It's hard and expensive to keep a rig up to date to enjoy these game fully. :(
Trophies is a the only reason to go back to Liberty City.. with all these great games coming out, it's hard to find a reason otherwise to play again. MS can keep their DLC.

I wish this was a remake instead of a port, doesn't look like anything special. I'd rather just play it on my cell phone with a SNES emulator.

Exactly, they're fixing the problem so there won't be a lot of bad publicity and they're getting free advertising as well. When mainstream new sources like CNN are reporting the issue and showing clips of the gameplay, the name LittleBigPlanet will reach more ears.
Yes 8.5 is a good score but R2 deserves higher. 8 on sound? MP isn't fun? Give me a break. R2 easily has some of the best MP action of ANY console game.
