yeah right.. the current gen consoles cant even run at 30 fps, we are lucky if next gen will be locked to 60 fps
GTA V development still has 8 months ahead, and it would probably surpass that figure
The main 4 differences are (at every console game vs pc game)
The 1080p res instead of 720p
60 fps instead of 25-30.
Anti Aliasing
Higher resolution textures
you mean FIRST person shooters right? because TPS's are awesome and are very few compared to fps games.
You see the actual difference when you sit in front of a 40 inch HDTV and first play the same game on console at 720p, 25-30 fps, then play it on PC @ 1080p, 60 fps and with gamepad, the difference is AMAZING and thats why i'm playing on a pc +hdtv + x360 gamepad for the past 2 years.
conviction was 540p on xbox so, this will probably be like that too.
It's been 5 years and all i want is to play a GTA title on my pc no matter its boring or not:)
The game looks the same as the first one anyway. Even the clothing of the characters are no different.
Report: PC will be more powerful than ps4 and next xbox combined.
this is just free advertising
They will announce it 3 months after GTA V comes out
I think it's time they give AC a few years off. It was great at first. Now it just feels boring
Yeah i noticed 'environmental detail' is the problem. i have 16gb ram, i5 2400 and the gtx 670.
Dropping down all the other stuff doesn't affect my frame rate however with env detail set to very high my fps drops to 40:@
No change for me on AC:3 with GTX 670
NO
Wait till you see the actual, muddy graphics with 15-20 fps on x360 / ps3
edit: If you don't believe me, you will see that i'm right in about 5 months.
'switched back' I also have x360 and ps3. Only use them to play the exclusives.
I switched back to PC gaming 2 years ago. There is a huge difference with 1080p, 60 fps, high res textures , dx11 , anti aliasing and much more.
I also play with the PC connected to HDTV with a x360 gamepad. So there is no difference - except some games get delayed. This is the only bad thing about pc gaming.
If next gen games won't be 60 fps , then i will have to stick with the next gen i am experiecing with a gaming pc that is connected to a HDTV with a x360 gamepad.
Game looks great, but i wish it was 1080p:/
