If this story is legitimate and they're already sending out dev kits to trusted indie developers, I think there's a really good chance the NX is indeed being released in late 2016. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. At least we know it will be revealed this year.
Question is: will Nintendo wait to reveal at E3 or drop a bomb in a surprise Nintendo Direct?
I literally gasped when the score came up. It's not everyday you see a 10 from a popular review site. I'm super hyped now. I've been wanting a good first person puzzle game and this one looks beautiful.
I love my Wii U, but the Gamepad is a mistake. Its battery life is abysmal, its rumble is worse than a phone's vibrate function and one has to go through Nintendo and spend hundreds of dollars just to replace it. It's a neat idea, but an awful controller. I want it gone forever.
If they just replicate the off-screen feature with the next Nintendo handheld then there is absolutely no more need for a Gamepad.
I wish Necropolis would come to PS4.
But, Th4Freak, it's more or less the same thing as the C-stick. A tiny analog input that resembles a button.
Twilight Princess, Wind Waker and Assassin's Creed II.
Most Nintendo players I know have a healthy respect for Japanese developers in general. I love the Nintendo the most for my own completely personal reasons, but I have a deep respect and admiration for Sony. I will thoroughly enjoy playing top notch games on my Wii U, PS4 and 3DS this generation.
I have to agree with Nexius as far as photo-realism is concerned. The Fox Engine demos were subtle and attentive to small detail. When they put the demo photos and real photos side by side it was a bit difficult to tell which was which for a moment.
These Unreal demos, while pretty, have unrealistic light sources, too much bloom and the surfaces are too clean and shiny. It's still carrying the stylistic tropes we adopted last gen when those techniques were relatively new ...
I always thought CoD would benefit from a longer development time.
I had fun with my OUYA. The development fever for it has worn off, however. I haven't heard any updates in a while on the exclusive games announced for it.
Maybe if they release a new model with a better GPU they can build up that steam again. However Steam Machines are on the horizon and they may just fill the niche.
I agree with you there. Competition is a good thing. I just kind of want a new comer to change the game up. When Sega went under and Microsoft stepped in, we saw a huge amount of effort and innovation enter the industry. And the same even further back when Magnavox and Atari were replaced with the Famicom and Sega Master System.
Who knows? Maybe Microsoft will turn it's attitude around like Sony did with the PS4. I'm not happy with them now obviously, but I'll see...
" only noteworthy for the agenda it has. "
Sorry if you can't handle being called out on your homophobic rhetoric, but a passive aggressive ad hominem statement doesn't qualify as a rebuttal.
Sony managed to afford it this time around, and now they're going back into the black. Meanwhile the console division of Microsoft has consistently lost them money for the last decade.
Honestly, the only one of the big three that has raked in consistent profit is Nintendo.
Did you guys read the article? He's not talking about graphical power. He's talking about the Gamepad.
No beards? Pre-order cancelled.
Xbox One may not deserve the flak, but Microsoft certainly does. That DRM stunt, the mandated Kinnect, lies about cloud computing and lack of indie support has turned me off of Microsoft entirely. Sure they went back on several of those policies. But only begrudgingly, and after they realized it would effect their bottom-line profit. I'm surprised the Xbox One has sold as well as it has considering it's also the weaker and less supported machine.
Frankly, I'd be h...
You obviously haven't heard of Code Name S.T.E.A.M. either. How would I describe it? I'd say it's a compelling new I.P. with a broad appeal.
@ZoidsRaven
So according to you, if the story involves gay people then it automatically has an 'agenda'? Grow up, dude.
I'm so sick of these articles. It's a non-issue.
And isn't it common knowledge by now that Anita is a bald-faced liar and a thief? She collected $10,000 for 'research materials' and ended up using other YouTubers' game footage (meaning she never bought any games), referenced only publicly available studies, used the same camera she did prior to the series, and yet only releases an average of three videos per year. Where did that money go? Straight into...
If it's a home console with competitive specs, absolutely.
