i'm throwing this out and idk if its true, but it seems that only the 20,60, and 40gb PS3s arent working, i gotta 80gb and its working fine
if you want to,youtube it, woudldn't suggest it though but its a thought kicks the fan in over drive and blows out a lot of dust

my friend had 2 of them die on him, both time's he was being an idiot and blocking the vents on the PS3
probably just dust build up, thats how my 60gb was for a bit then i cleaned it then it went all quiet again:)

my 60gb lasted 26 months, almost was on nonstop after they put up that folding@home, and my current 80gb turned 1 yr old 4 days ago so idk what your complaining about

nothing was wrong with mine, my ps3 was practically on all late afternoon/evening
on side note i gotta 80gb phat, but i'm in Canada so idk if its just in the states
put it haze could of been great if released a year earlier and had better writers, and i actually enjoyed the MP on there

metro 2033 and BFBC2 look like potential buys next month....if i have the cash
took me 10 hrs to get to Radec on normal,
took me 5 hrs to finish Halo 3 on Elite, just imagine the time i'd have to put in if i played KZ2 on the hardest difficulty
i so need a new graphics card if i want to even want my PC games moderately close to those graphics
it's just a handheld, it doesn't need to have a million buttons on it
