Sounds like people hate people. I wish we could but judging on how people don't agree with you (besides me), people just hate people.

But COD on PC kinda died a terrible death after MW2. I'm not sure if the crowd came back but I do know they lost a huge amount of popularity among the PC community.

@Gabriel

Yeah, because everyyyyyone changes their parts every 6 months.

Personally I change my RAM all the time! The new 8GB DDR3 1333hz is much faster than my 8GB DDR3 1333hz and I can't stand it. My water cooling CPU cooler isn't cooling also so I need to buy a new one like freaking socks.

I say who cares if there are female characters or male characters. I say we should just be a little more liberal and less conservative with what we see as a norm and "correct".

I'm mostly referring to those religious hoo-ha's and those craaaazy politicians that run this damn country.

Not to mention bottleneck it. It's raw power without control and support. It's a tank without his buffer and cleric.

I see no reason. People wanted Crysis on consoles, people get Crysis on their consoles.

Also, the money factor.

Use a blue switch!

To die

@NathanExplosion

Well, there are other things that use that much power. And btw, Metro 2033 can't run at maximum on a 680 so this rig might be the only setup that can.

Also, imaginary PS5 is imaginary.

I have to spend money to play games at maximum experience level?

Blasphemy!

But he's referring to the 12 GB GDDR5 VRAM, and that's not possible to just buy and plug into your PC.

But it's pretty possible to get 16gb DDR3 for like $60 if you get two 8GB kits from G.Skill.

I have no idea but it did get Sony (push games and software) and Nintendo (make a new console and try to get multiplats) to do something.

4741d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It sure helps but in no way should it be christened the new godsend of Sony.

While Killzone looks good, it is definitely not far ahead of any PC game. Physics are lacking and only running at 30 FPS.

4742d ago 6 agree3 disagreeView comment

Now it seems easier to do the opposite. I agree during the Ps3 and Xbox gen, the PC was being gimped but that can change... for now until the next-gens begin to fall behind like current gen.

@Metfanant

This is where your logic fails. Most people already have a PC so anyone can just stick a GPU in. You're one of those people who constantly go to the argument that a gaming PC was specifically built for gaming PCs.

I'm not saying that's advisable but it's certainly possible. And you could easily scrap your current work PC (which actually might have a pretty decent CPU) and use the current parts for a new one at possibly half the pric...

@Campy
Those hz and frame rates are always looking but always come short. It's no wonder they're desperate.

I actually know what you mean.

4742d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Piracy (tricking the console into thinking it read a PS3 disc) possibly and most definitely the cost issue.

4744d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Ram's main effect is on texture loading, caching, and whatnot (with my limited understanding).

8 GB of RAM isn't that much if you think about it unless a game can actually use all that for loading stuff.

The cap is probably because of some decision to do less work.

You spelled my name wrong and it exists.

Non-existent is if they weren't making it and an idea isn't even floating around to make it, which they clearly are.
