Here is the truth: Microsoft paid squareenix upwards of 70 million dollars for square to break their exclusivity with Sony over ff13. A few of the stipulations were that the game had to be identical or better on the xbox, and that the ps3 version could not contain any "extras" that the xbox version wouldn't be able to include. There ya go.
That answers every question. Don't even expect dlc for the ps3 version.

just kinda think of it like a bios screen. they pretty much look all different (pc to pc), right? The new firmware will probably bring this this to the "phat" ps3 as well in 3.0. They definitely modified quite a few things with the new slim board...mostly because of security breaches found by "homebrewers"
My launch ps3 controllers are still working perfectly after 3 years of daily use. MY 4 xboxes didn't even last that long. THE BATTERIES IN MY PS3 CONTROLLERS WILL OUTLIVE ANY XBOX EVER BUILT.
