It's his decision regardless, but how is it so particuliarly odd for gamers to check out games that are getting high nods from reviewers in ANY gen.

These are same guys who gave Witcher 2 a 4.5 simply because it was on the 360..glad I didnt listen to them then and they hold nmo weight now.
You can see through all of the excessively low scores that are getting thrown around for 'certain' games on thes little sites.
But hey it's his opinion. It'll be fun to read these after playing gthe game to see if it's REALLY this horrible unreedeemable software ...

Wow your already 5 hours in..I planned on picking up my pre-order this week.
I'm laughing at how hard some of the reviewers are reaching to find negatives for the game.
Kotaku said a negative is that the reviewer is a 'grown man and he's pretending to drive an 'imaginary carriage'
Like it somehow is any different when we pretend to ride 'imaginary' horses with a controller for games like R...
IGN hates Kinect and the game didn't get Steel Batallioned..lol
7.2 is actually good since the only thing they are critiquing is the fact that it's linear and that from time to time their Kinect 'wigs' out.
That's a far cry from saying it's simply a bad game, bad story, bad graphics etc.

OXM UK gave it an 80%t
So there you have it..

In regards to the 720, MS is in it's best position ever to solidify a successful gen.
Xbox Live has not only been a huge factor in the 360s success this gen, but it will be a HUGE reason that the migration to the 720 will be massive early on for the hardcore 360 fans.

The Xbox is a platform for games and entertainment, just as any console is at this point.
Just because we all love and play games doesnt necessarily make us all qualified to manage a business.

The first Mass Effect going Multi over 5 years later is not going to hurt the 360 at all.
The game had it's time, made it's money, built up the fanbase and will still be selling on 360 with the new compilation in November.
But I think it's a good thing for EA and MS to let this finally get to all the consoles. There really isnt a major incentive to hold it back.

Nothing against NHL, but IMO...right NOW...no sports game is touching NBA 2K11, 2K12, and now 2K13

I can relate gto the author in a big way.
This year I have had a tough time getting quality time in on many of my games this year due to my schedule.
Im still stuck between play ME3 multiplayer DLC, Witcher 2, and trying to get to the multiple Elder Scrolls DLC.
I bought NBA 2K13 and havent played more than a couple of games, havent touched my B2 or Fable: The Journey.
