Not only does it work..the games are a blast..
We watched the troll-a-thon continue for an entire year trying to convince the world that Kinect was going to flop as soon as it was released..
But, not only did it not flop, it actually impressed us..
Microsft had an uphill battle and the fact is they pulled it off..
Had Kinect had ANY of the issues the usual suspect counted on..it would have been DOA and we'd all be...
Are you talking bad about the Wii again?
LOL..the article mean thank to confirmation with Neogaf does it have these numbers..
Same as before..nothing has changed
I actually bought the original PDC for Wii..
I've been searching for a great dart game for years. Nothing on any system came close to capturing how fun Darts are in Bars and Pubs..
But to be honest I was pleasantly supprised with Games Party 3 for the Wii..because unlike PDC it actually has Cricket and not just 301, 501 etc..
So I'm hoping that Games Party: In Motion has a fun dart game as well..
If the new PD...

It's the silly PaintBall mini-game from Deco-Sports freedom..
'This is Microsoft yet again making me chuckle myself to sleep'
Has absolutely nothing to do with Micrsoft..it's simply a Kinect Port version of a Wii franchise..

Once again laughing @ the hypocrisy..
Your just complaining just to complain at this point..
Youve spent 6 bubbles in 6 different directions..
First it's the 360 'tossed' core gamers to the wayside with JRPGs
Then it's bu-bu-but the JRPGs are multi-plat
Then I as well as other point to 'core' games pointing to 2010 which catered to the core as much as any year
So are we playing sales or are we talking games aimed at core..
Are we playing Metacritic or are we playing the games ourselves, making our own decisions on whether we enjoy them or not..
No offense but this isn't 2008..we are a month and a half away from 2011..
Not trying to offend or 'impress' people with my writing style..and this was far from a rant..I simply responded to the 'core' question
Wh...
You know, if you're going to spout off about "year of the core"
you should really get your facts straight.
LMFAO @ the hypocrisy..
If you going to spout of the best year of the Xbox 360 then YOU get YOUR facts straight..
The biggest game in the history of the 360 Halo 3 came out in 2007..not 2008
Back on topic..you are pretending that the Microsoft 'tossed the 'core' gamer to the w...
Poo egg above beat me to it..
It's always funny how when PS3 get's exclusive content ala 'Joker' for Batman, Dante, Dead Space 2, etc..you never hear a peep from that side..claiming 'fans got screwed'..
Both console get their share of content incentives from time to time..
Either way..can't wait..bought every DLC for Fallout 3 and will definately pick this one up..

Let's keep it 100%..
The 'Core' argument simply popped up from fan bloggers as another way to smear Kinect. It is not only silly and baseless..but is is flat out false..
I own every system this gen..I own over 100+ 360 games alone..I gamed on the original Xbox year one..
To put it short..I am one of those core 360 gamers..
But, even if you never owned a 36 the core argument still hold no merit.
...
Dance Central is the 'truth'..Harmonix rules for this gem..
Blur is ealily one of the most underrated titles this year...
That's one game that deserved wayyy more sales than it got..
Been playing these guys titles since (LOL) Fur Fighters..
It's a shame they were the unlucky recipients of a non-movie year Bond game..that thing was DOA from jump..critics will give it the passover and consumers are NEVER going to spend 60 dollars on that kind of game in the wake of Call of Duty: Black Ops ...
To push 1 million units when all the 'supposed' analysts (including *cough* Pach) said the $150 dollar price tag was too much for it to be a success.
As I've always said, all they needed to do was 'deliver' on the product at launch and they pulled it off..
The early adopters got it over the first mill..but the real payday come November 24th thru December 24th.
Once the stand-alone inventory is sold-thru then the bundles ...
The Kinect haters have spent over a half a year trying to convince the world that the device would fail at launch..it didn't
In fact, it gained a suprising reaction from press and gamers alike..because it works
The gamble to take a different approach from what Wii and Move are doing paid off
Early adopters took it to a milli in a week and a half and Black Friday and the holidays may see a sell-through of the entire stock.
...
Bubz to ryuzi for that little piece of info..haven't read the latest on what's compatible or not
Don't want to spend 400 dollars and thing simply not work..
I bought the official 360 wireless wheel for Forza and it boosted the normal racer experience immensely
Still on the fence for which wheel to purchase for GT5..but this article was actually a good start..the forums have interesting opinions on it too
...
Do only negative Kinect fan blogger articles get degrees around here?
So Kinect the peripheral that EVERYONE said was too expensive to sell does a Milli in a week and a half..and that is only the early adopters
I've said this all along..
It really doesn't matter..Kinect will sell out of it's remaining stock by the weekend of Black Friday
The demand will be there for product heavy in December..the stand-alo...
LMAO @ none of those games coming close to Sports Champions.
Hands down the best launch game on the Move..
Just wish the rest of the games were as good..
Evil
*patiently waits for another Greenburg twitter*
Been saying this all along.
The system asks you in advance what distance you want to play at and then it adjusts the games from that point.
They keep pretending that Kinect has some ridiculous requirement, but Sports champion asks you to play at 8 feet and NOBODY mentions it.
Even GamePro exaggerated what was needed to play Kinect.
It doesn't matter at this point because the system launched and people can see for ...
Again..the games are a blast..the biggest suprise being how fun Kinect Adventures is..
VideoKinect works perfectly..I used to chat with the XboxVisionCam..but Kinect destroys that experience with the follow cam, the resizing picture as other people step in front of the cam, and the mic precludes you from needing the headset
Kinect works perfectly with Zune..We watched Scott Pilgrim last night and the voice controlled pause, rewind, etc worked perfectly ...
