Are you serious? This is actually the most news worthy thing i have been seeing on N4G lately. All the biggest "news" that has been on this site has been crap about the battle between HD DVD and Blu-Ray......yawn.........and rumors about this and that. At least this was an interview with the president of a respectable video game company about the status of a rather highly anticipated video game. This is news and i actually thank N4G for having more news based content.

That is true I liked gaming news when it was more about new games and features of consoles rather than wars over High Definition and 360 Vs. PS3 BS. I have always sided with Sony for its expertise in hardware and am naturally glad that Blu-Ray is winning but there are a lot of posers out there that see their console or High definition preference fail and they are quick to side with the opposing side. I love MMOs and I especially love my PS3 so seeing the two merge is like a dream come true. I think that the Aion game looks really sweet and hope that it gets made for the PS3.
I have been thinking about putting this operating system on my PS3. I was just wandering dose it make the PS3 dual bootable? In other words can I access the XMB while having YDL installed as well? Then maybe the next time you boot up the PS3 you can choose to run YDL instead of XMB. I am currently taking IT classes but doubt they will teach me about PS3 OS so all I can do is rely on the knowledge of the gamers. If that doesnt work then I will google it i guess.

Anyways my "super" wal-mart has the worst selection of games that i have ever seen. Maby if they covered up most of the box on some of there games people might be tricked into thinking that my wal-mart has good games. I hate the video game selection at my walmart so bad that i will travel 30min. - 1 1/2 hours just to get to a reputable gaming store.
but the PS3 is truly catching up in both of those fields. look at the games in 08 for PS3 then look at those for the xbox. then when home gets here i am sure that the online community will be more acceptive of the Playstation network. dont get me wrong though i do like my xbox but you cant deny the momentum of the PS3.

R2 is really pushing the FPS envelope for FPS games on every console. Long has 16 players been the cap for online gaming. It really made me angry that Halo 3 only had 16 max players. How is that in any way making the Halo world any better. Resistance:FoM made leaps and bounds allowing 40 players online and now they are upping the ante again with 20 more players. The only reason that the Wii is dominating right now is the cheap price and the fact that it reaches a broder target audience. This was a good article for people that want to play games on a comp but dont want to shell out $2,000+ to do so. My desktop recently crashed and decided that it is time for an upgrade, and so instead of buying a whole new rig I will just put together some good internals and save a ton of $$$$.
That is exactly the things that me and my friends that play CoD:4 and Halo3 and I am glad(albeit not surprised) to hear that out of someone else. All of the things that you mentioned in your little rant are things that must be changed in FPS games if they are ever going to achieve true realism.

I think Home will fix everything and when it comes out it only makes sense that they revamp the psn look and feel because not everybody is going to want to walk around a virtual world to do everything they want to do online. Some will still like the aspect of just scrolling through a well organized menu real quickly to get into a game, go to the store, etc. rather than play a virtual mini-game every time they get online.

It was a great game and all but do they really need a shoe line? honestly though i can see a 8-10 year old gamer wearing them, but you know there is going to be some weird Fanboy that is like 34 and in their parents basement with a pair of these shoes on somewhere.
