The problem is is that people will be less willing to spend on new games they hardly know about. The used game market will help them decide if they want to buy a sequel base on the initial purchase on the used game. IMO

My comment sound a bit extreme, but for you to mess a game that is already establish and all you have to do is update the graphics and sound for it to be successful, is something hard to believe.
