DarXyde,
Didn't mean to imply sequels aren't innovative. I should've wrote 'innovate on core concepts' instead of improve...'.
What I meant though is that with sequels, there is already user buy in. The users will be more positive about the innovations they take. I actually think that sequels have more freedom to innovate, as there is less risk because of buy in.
You mention Metal Gear Solid and it is an exception. The...
@Raven722
You have a point, but look at the games you listed. They are all sequels. Are they taking risks? Or are they all just improving on their core concepts?
Those titles you listed have built up a fan base. When companies pick reviewers, they will pick the person who is more involved with the previous titles in the series, because they know the history better. But, that also means they like the content and have already approved the core concepts of that ...

Not sure if exclusives help competition. If I want to play Halo, Mario or Uncharted, I need to buy into the respective brand. It doesn't matter the quality of the hardware, it's the entire ecosystem (games, hardware subscriptions, etc).
For muliplatform games, the game is no longer part of the ecosystem. I can play the game i want with the ecosystem i want. Now there's more competition, not only do the ecosystems compete, but the games com...
Who quoted this as erotic? While it may have not of been the highest class move...calling it erotic is a bit of a stretch. And how many people complained? Most of the tweets are from 1 person.
I've see nothing wrong with someone complaining about this (if they were there), but this article seems to just want to sensationalize it.
Not true. You just need to sign up for their newsletter.
Slightly off topic, but what are evryone's favourite games so far on GearVR. I've been looking at reviews on vrfocus, but the site isn't focussing on reviews as much. What games are people playing right now?
Agreed. Temple Run is fun. I also like Sisters. Not really a game, but that horror app is fun for a scare. And it's awesome watching others run through it. Always screaming.
As expensive as it is, when you compare it smartphones, it does seem somewhat reasonable IMO. Not sure why I thought it would be less now that I think about it.
That said, I'll stick to the cheaper options (Gear VR, Google Cardboard) until the price goes down a bit. I was lucky to have bought an S6 previously so i bought the Gear VR. Had it for about a week, and it's been a lot of fun. Recommend it for anyone who has a newer Samsung phone.
Don't think it will happen. For Rare Replay to be on Nintendo, Microsoft/Rare would want some of the Rare games with Nintendo IPs on Xbox or Windows. IPs are much more important for Nintendo's success than Microsoft. Nintendo would never agree to it.
On the flip side, this would be awesome if it happened. I hope I'm wrong. But in my opinion, I would be shocked if this was officially announced.
Do you have a link to confirm this? As far as i understood, they would add 360 games to ea access, but those same games would also be available to anyone who owns the games, just like any other 360 game. Am I wrong?
The disagrees are by calling the xbox one integration wasted tech. No one is going to think this is a system seller. But for those that live in small apartments, this will be a nice feature.
Just because a feature isn't outstandingly great, doesn't mean it sucks.
@NukaCola
"there are a lot of people who just want to be on Playstation without having money pull them there."
...and they can be on the playstation platform without being exclusive to the platform.
Exclusivity deals are from console companies paying game developers to only release on their platform.
Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo all do it, because it makes good business sense. Developers also agree to it because it...
Has this been officially announced as an exclusive? I haven't seen any confirmation of this. If someone has seen the confirmation, could you please post the link.
Did they turn off the servers for these games?
I haven't tried running the games I own on GFWL, but I'm still able to download these games. I assumed since the GFWL client still connects, so would the games.
I'll have to check this when I get home tonight.
