They need to spend that cash in advertising. I can count on one hand the number of TV spots I've seen for the Wii U. Nintendo needs to start selling the Wii U. No one is going to make games for a machine no one has and no one is going to buy a console when no one is making games for them.
I agree they are doing more, I'm not sure they are doing enough. Based on some of the sales numbers we are seeing and the reaction from third-party developers and retailers we should be seeing an all hands on deck to save the ship operation. Yeah, with all of the stretch goals that are going up and PS4/Vita being at the same $80,000 as the Wii U one can't help but notice that no Xbox flavor is being listed as an option.

That is the exact problem with the device based system. If your 3DS stops working you have lost the device and the game. There is no way to re-download it to another 3DS even if you sign in with your NNID.
