You forget that the 360 is due for a price drop too.
The 360S still holds the same prices of $199 and $299 as the previos 360's.
And you get a $10 best Buy gift card.
So it is a pretty sweet deal.

From the videos I've seen so far.
Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 may be the best looking FPS this gen on both HD consoles.
That would be so sweet if a multiplat wins the crown for best graphics.
There is are huge differences between this gen and the previous gens that easily extend the console lifecycle past the regular estimated 5 yrs.
Games get updates and DLC.
PSN and LIVE get amazing cheap games. (LIVE gets Indy games too)
Firmware for the hardware.
Both consoles have become multimedia beasts with Netflix, Movie rentals, Facebook, etc..
Both consoles just launched motion controllers.

And I luv the way it plays, more open world. Reminds me of Halo and not the straight CoD or KZ.

Oh ... And I noticed it's coming out on PS3.
Funny how in the beginning of this gen MS was all about getting exclusives from PS2 to go multiplat.... and now it's Sony doing the same to the 360. (i.e. Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden, Mass Effect, Prey... etc, etc)

Big part of the game was Tommy and his Cherokee background .... doing the spirit walk, coming back to life using that Indian vodoo magic and Grampa spirit helping out with advice.

And Halo 4 for 2013 and the next Gears for 2014.
