Don't mind the troll.
Halo 2 and 3 have always been used in professional MLG for years.
And Reach will be used as well.
So let me ask you this:
Do you think Microsoft will be putting out kiosk playable demos of Kinnect?
No reason Sony can't do both.
I high end portable tablet PC, like 6-7 inches with a dedicated GPU running Android 2.2 and
A PSP2.
There is a market for both.
Agreed.
But I'm still not convinced MOVE is 1:1 accurate for fps .... or a better way to put it, give you the advantage compared to the twitch of a finger with a controller.
You know who will buy Kinnect:
Little girls that what to play Dance Central
Little little kids that think it's cool.
Moms that are looking for something to give them that motivation to workout ...'games like Kinnect Fitness and Zuma.
Pretty ...
Too bad.
Sony is a hardware first company ....
And tablets are the future.
Dear Microsoft,
I DARE you to put out playable demos at the local best buys and gamestop!!!
How can anyone be surprised?
Touchscreen tablets are the future.
Anyone seen the new Galexy S tablets coming out? And all the smartphones?these are like mini-pc gaming on the go. The tech specs are ridiculous. Hopefully Sony is intergratig a dedicated GPU in their tablet.
This PlayView will capture the hearts of everyone .... gamers, web-surfers, students ... you name it.
This may very well be direct competition to the iTouch/iPhone,...
It should have been $99 packed in with a game.
It's going to be very interesting the sales numbers for Kinnect/Move.
At first I wanted Kinnect.... But after seeing the demonstrations and games .... I'll PASS
Then at first I thought MOVE would fail .... but then they said it's so accurate, you can have an advantage on FPS ... so I changed my mind about MOVE, until I read the reviews last week, and it seems it does NOT give you an advantage ... so I changed my mind about MOVE.
...
Good read .... I agree 100%
BUT a couple things to consider, Sony had to built up it's first party line-up. And now they got some damn good AAA first party exclusives.
While MS is losing exclusives, losing first party studios.
Sony is setting themselves up real sweet next gen.
Who wouldn't want to play the next uncharted, resistance, killzone, GT6, LBP, infamous, and racket and clank on a PS4.
Whereas right now .... the only Exclusi...
I never thought of it that way ....
HOPEFULLY they do announce the next XBox to be released 2011. I've had my 360 since launch, and would welcome a next gen Xbox, without abandoning the 360.
I already heard somewhere that Epic is working on their next engine for next gen consoles.
I know there are other hardcore games that support it,
But my point was the Dead Space 2 should be top of the list for hardcore gamers ... a game like that would just add more suspense and atmosphere using motion controls.
As LBP2 would be a close second.
I don't see any advantages of hardcore FPS like Socom and KZ3 being better with MOVE, until proven wrong.
Ok .... the casual games being released for MOVE have already been done on the Wii. It won't catch the interest of the Wii audience ... IMO.
Not like games like Zumba, Kinnect adventure, Kimnect Fitness, and Dance Central being released for Kinnect. I don't like any if those games .... but those games are targeted at the moms and kids .... the casuals.
Any hardcore gamer would appreciate MoVe and it's support for games like KZ3, LBP2, and DS2.
...
Mixed reviews if you really read it.
They talk negatively about the older hardware of the pseye, the lighting conditions, the placement but the tracking sounds good. Especially compared to the last review which said it was inaccurate for the ping pong game.
Very interested formthe hardcore games to see how hood it really is ..... I know they said a MOVE player beat a DS3 player are Socom .... but not convinced ... yet.
Yup. If only.
That would at least bring some acceptance to that market.
Lol .... I was about to say the same thing.
"- a rare inaccuracy in ping pong"
Not good considering I keep hearing 1:1 out of every fanboy on this site.
It's going to be very interesting this holiday season.
Good luck to Sony and MOVE, but I just don't see the casuals iumping on this, only the core gamers.
Where the casuals will jump on Kinnect, and the core gamers with a 360 will be envious of MOVE and it's support for hardcore games.
I think you named the #1 game that PS3 owners, well the hardcore at least, should be excited about to use with MOVE ... Dead Space 2.
If I owned a ps3, I would buy the setup just to play that one game with MOVE.
Supposedly .... A lot of the main guys from Bungie jumped ship to 343 industries (something like that) .... That's the new studio made specifically for future Halo games.
