Prototype had great ideas, but a very flawed execution. It's all the more disappointing when you know the game could have been so much better.

Imo, they should have only SP trophies for platinum, maybe add MP trophies later, like UC2 did. That way, those of us who actually want to play the game online will play it, not the trophy hunters who just keep boosting.

While I agree that MP trophies should either be absent or handled like Uncharted 2 handled them, I'm not too concerned about it. I have no idea how some people grind for 50 hrs just for a trophy, it's not like you're even having fun grinding. :/

When trophies first came out, I came dangerously close to becoming a trophy whore, but then I set a rule for myself- if I'm getting bored when I'm trying to get a particular trophy, I quit. I don't need to slog through 70 hours of boredom on GTA4 MP just for a trophy.
So far, I have about 25-26 plats, and I'm proud to say that they're all from games I thoroughly enjoyed to the end.
It depends on how you look at it. $15 per month might be high compared to what console gamers are used to, but it would enable them to support the game with good severs, free content, etc.
Personally, I'm still not sold on this game, but I'll definitely be looking into it when it comes out.

Don't try to appeal to WRPG fans. Go back to full-blown JRPG, since those are the type of gamers who play your games.
