That whatever bugs are in the game - they'll be fixed before release. This game still looks amazing;)
You can say what you want but it's obvious you don't have a Live account. I'm not dogging out anyone - I'm just saying that Live has been great for me so far and $50 a year isn't that bad for me or Live's other MILLIONS of users. You might get 31 agrees for your Live hating comments but when it's all said and done, it's a pretty good service with millions of users and some really great content! Try it, you just might like it ;)
Is a great concept and Sony has even admitted that the execution phase of the project was more intense than originally thought. I'm glad they have at least provided updates and apologies for the delays. Until then, there's plenty things to keep us busy until the service launches =)
Anytime some brings up the success of XBOX Live - Fanboys always bring up RROD or the fact that you've to pay for Live! Live is an awesome service with more content and options soon to follow and it's only $50 per year (less than $5 a month). If you want to complain about that small out of money, you might want to sit this generation out;)
I don't think any console should be labelled "the best"! Each one has it's pros and cons. Ultimately, it comes down to what the consumer is looking for in a console =) I think that with all 3 systems selling well, and as more software and online features become available for all - there's something out there for everyone this generation.
Features on a game system only get you so far. When it's all said and done, consumers want games. If there were only 3 games available on the PS3, do you think anyone would buy it? Yes, MGS4 had an impact on sales...just like Halo 3 and Gears of War had an impact on 360 sales. That's why the loss of an exclusive game like FFXIII had the impact that it did...because that game had the potential to increase sales and demand for the PS3. Features and online or really good things but, in the end f...
I downloaded the demo yesterday and just can't seem to put it down. Once you get the hang of combat and the skill tree, it becomes very addicting. I can't wait to check out the other classes! I was worried that this game wouldn't live up to the hype but it actually does. Good cut-scenes, good combat, and great graphics!!
E3 is held a little too early in the year and with other conferences held closer to the Holidays, I just think they may withhold a little information until the biggest shopping period of the year. That way, all the new announcements and hype are taken right into the holiday shopping period =)
starting a flame war. There hasn't been a single game this generation that is so far technologically superior it couldn't be achieved on either the PS3 or 360! The only limiting factor for MGS4 on the 360 is disc space...easily solved by using multiple disks. Multiple disks would really suck for this game but, it would be the only way =)
All 3 had very lack-luster showings. E3's in the past have been somewhat monumental compared this this year's. A fanboy can spin and distort reality to the point of absurdity but when it's all said and done, the only real "suprise" was FFXIII. Everything else was kind of expected or wrongfully left out. Maybe next year guys =(
If FFXIII sells well on the 360 - you'd better believe they will continue to support that platform. From a finacial stand point, this is good for SE...only from a "fanboy" point of view does this look bad. I think that the more people that can enjoy the Final Fantasy experience, the better ;)
SE is a proven solid developer and I'm sure both versions will be outstanding!
Sure FFXIII is huge and helped define the playstation brand - but Sony has evolved just as consumers have. New IPs like RfoM, Little Big Planet, along with strong Exclusives like Killzone and MGS4 will ensure the console wars remain tight. I just hate doom's day speculation;)
and people said it wouldn't happen...
with you Fishy. I love all my consoles but when a couple of my friends are running quad cores, dual graphics cards, with 6GB of RAM - it's a hard point to agrue sometimes;)
The first Gears of War (when it was released) was visually the best looking thing on the market and on top of that it had very solid game play and a pretty good multi-player aspect!
Gears 2 will be no different:)
I haven't played a Zelda game that I considered to be a "disappointment" - they are all a little different in their own special way but, have remain true to original. I have faith that the next Zelda game will be just as good as the rest =)
I don't think Sony necessarily has to "win" people over - their brand loyalty around the world is unprecedented. I think once games like God of War III, GT, and Final Fantasy drop, more people we upgrade from their PS2s for a PS3...we're all ready seeing this with MGS4.
Having all 3 consoles...I still wasn't really looking forward to E3 but now when you look at games like Final Fantasy XIII, Killzone 2, and now God of War III - the excitement is finally starting to mount!!
agree with you on that. People thought GTA would move systems...if it did, it's nothing like what MGS4 is doing =)
You're absolutely right! Bubbles for you for being a non-biased gamer;)
