it comes down to how a developer leverages it. Let's see, I can produce a game on CD, DVD or Blu-Ray adn which would look better? Jesus, some of the stuff on here is such a waste of a read. Why I continue to do this to myself!!!
this guy is such a clown. He needs to really stop talking.
what is it? maybe time to wiki I guess, however I have no clue what this game or series is.
here we go again. enough already. you want the one with Yoda or Vader. end of story.
from inside Eurogamer - the score 8 was decided before they even played the game. I believe they did this to help create traffic on the site and get serious action on the fourms. I'll try and find the source again.
However, it does go to show that every game site is biased one way or another, and more seem to be in Microsoft's corner for some reason.
These sites should stop doing reviews as I have yet to see something that is not biased in some way. Just provi...
"now, if this game was also released on the 360, we would have given it a solid 10."
so what if soemone does this on a 52" tv vs. soemthing in the 40" range???
52" 1080p LCD
So, in the US the XBOX has sold roughly 11.5 million units and the PS3 has sold about 4.75 million. Let's see, that is about 6.75 million additional buyers on the 360.
again how and why is this news. Did MS mention this in the report or are they acting like it's 1 v 1. In the end, who cares other than MS and Sony and a bunch of fanboys.
How am I counted if I buy it on both consoles??? I off set the number as I don't give Sony or MS the edge - just one more uni...
who in the hell cares about a 400% zoom. Are people really wasting time with stuff like this. What value at all does this provide?
Gamespot still around? Do they still do reviews? Is that what they call those write ups? I have not been over there in months.
Can't wait to see how they review MGS4. Hell, maybe they won't even review it - it seems they review maybe 2% of the games that come out.
overpriced is an opinion. also, agree with the rest of your comments. Consumers still have a say. If no one buys a rumble controller, they will come down in price.
Sony doesn't own anyone a thing. They now release a DualShock 3 and folks should be pissed? So they didn't do it day 1 - god forbid.
Same goes for MS - consumers know they have awful support and RROD, but consumers still buy it. Why would MS put so much effort into fixing the problem if folks continue to buy as is.
Corporations are not responsible for idiots that keep looking for handouts and won't take personal responsibility. The consumer has the last say...
do these morons not have access to a usb HD larger than a gig? this guy is a complete idiot if he didn't back things up and everyone who agrees with him - just walk away from technology you doofs.
This isn't even a story and I have no pity on this jacka@@
the 360 is actually over 16% for failure rate. POS
of course it is beating the PS3, the 360 has an additional year of sales. These articles and the people that right them are a waste. If you look at each unit since release and count the same number of months, you'll see that the PS3 is on par with the 360.
this is a bs position. it's not that Americans think racism one way and Japan another. It's the far left loons and major media that try and get white Americans to feel guilt about being white.
Any game developer should be able to tell a story if they have the facts right. If the facts and history are there (even in fictional games) and it offends people - then those offended have the problem.
racism and fact are two different things and folks need to get over it.
A sign of a company on their heels is when they start responding to opinions/reviews. This just shows that Microsoft is starting to feel the heat from other consoles, thrid party developers and consumers.
A fact Albert forgets to mention is that the 360 was released a year ahead of the other consoles. An additional year for:
1. developers to learn the hardware
2. marketing
3. XBL content
4. and simply a year more of games, so of course it w...
actually blu-ray did win. these people that continue to try and push DLC as the real winner or next thing are blowing smoke. As a movie fan I will always want to own my DVD's - blu or not. DLC is a "free" service because the movies are worse quality. If they think a 50GB movie with extra's, audio options etc can be downloaded, then they are nuts. That will take all damn weekend to download. And then what, I can't burn or back it up and it will only play for a week or something...
we all know the 360 has been out a year longer, so to keep this simple, let's use 36 months for the 360 and 24 months for the PS3. Per VGChartz, the 360 has sold roughly 26,490,000 units while the PS3 has sold roughly 18,820,000 units.
360: 26,490,000/36 = 735,833 units a month
PS3: 18,820,000/24 = 784,166 units a month
Projections based on above:
360 @ 24 months is 735,833*24 = 17,660,000 units to date
PS3 @ 36 months is 784,166*36 = 28,230...
