I must say that I am totally delighted with HOT OFF THE GRILL. An excellent platform for GAMERNODE and the team. Love the camera! Love video games! Let's keep the industry on its toes by open and honest coverage. Seriously, we can't imagine nor underestimate the impact these games have on our culture.
Thanks Jason!
Well said. This expresses a dilemma many players experience, no doubt. Players don't invest in or play games to "waste" time or as "time consumers", necessarily. Games are a form of entertainment, and when they cease to fulfill that function, they become dust collectors.
Indeed. I guarantee that once a more feminine perspective influences the themes and storylines represented in videogames, and people recognize the importance of pressuring developers to provide content that is both appealing and relevant to the female gender, growth will be astonishing.
More games need to be fearless in experimentation, as Puzzle Quest is.
If one derives satisfaction vicariously in either of these areas, sex and violence, especially at a very early and impressionable stage in one's development, I question the effect it has on one's actual involvement in the real world. Or does getting satisfaction in virtual realities discourage healthy participation and healthy relationships in actuality......Personally, I feel parents are responsible for instilling healthy values prior to their children experiencing any and all media onslaugh...
Not only does this game sound inviting, but entertaining and possibly addictive as well, based on the combination of graphics, soundtrack, game mechanics and light-heartedness as described in the article.
Sophia Lamb is prime overlord material. Egomaniacal and mentally deranged. She definitely has potential as a winner!
The cliche of "leaving something to the imagination" has its advantages...especially if you have a good imagination....
Now this is the kind of commentary that one can easily relate to and draw one's own conclusions about wanting to even get involved....
It's much more interesting to have more than one type of evil character, instead of just something generic. The more complex the game, the better.
Poor Luigi.
I'm interested to hear what the Gamernode team plays individually on their "time off". You have to actually play the games in order to talk about them, and playing takes time. So, keep playing and keep sharing your views. :)
