The Wii was fun when it first came out, but rapidly lost its appeal (for me). I really hope Nintendo will turn out like Sega and become a software company. I agree with the writer that Nintendo should develop games that don't revolve strictly around those ever famous characters, but, let's face it, there will always be a profit to be made on a new Zelda or Mario title. And while I agree the Wiimote and nunchuck set-up provides an innovative way for playing games, I don't see any reason why...
I'm not saying Nintendo WILL follow Sega into software development, just that they should because it would be better for everyone.
