Yeah their arrogance is really starting to piss me off.
Reach was fun for me, would of loved it more if Reach's campaign was longer and the characters were given a chance to develop. Its just a good Halo game but not a GOTY contender, for me at least.

A lot of franchises are hitting their trilogy mark and that feels like it will cause a shift toward a new console generation being asked for. 2-3 years isn't unrealistic but the current tech is still doing a pretty good job for now.

I've read dev articles that say 3D optimization actually improves the overall build of a game when running at non-3D TV's. I've heard this from Guerrilla Games and Housemarque, but what do they know about making good games?

The thing I'm excited for is the prospect of story elements from Black Isle Studios canceled Fallout 3 project making there way into Fallout New Vegas.
Wonder if they can make it more subtle too. The whole distorting reality thing was fun to look at but like you said, it wasn't very scary.
