The 360 has been out for almost 3 years and has only had 1 price cut in the US. The number of people willing to pay $350 for a console is almost tapped out and the temporary $50 price drop will probably only boost sales for a month or two. In the past most consoles have sold the most when they reach the $199 milestone. I think the rrod slowed Microsoft from putting more resources in to finding ways to lower manufacturing costs. LittleBigPlanet is a new title so we're going to have to wait and see how it sales and how it gets reviewed before we can claim it's a big title but it looks like it going to be. Resistance 2 is solid but reviews and sales of the first one show that gamers tend to prefer Gears.
