Telltale and its misfortune :-(
Kaname Fujioka. His work on MH Tri and MGS Peace Walker deserves a nod for capturing the right atmostphere and tone given the limited hardware for worlds that no doubt feels memorable.
The team at Naughty Dog
I'm a fan of the worlds they are able to craft, from the steller uncharted series to the gory and gruesome Last of us
Booker DeWitt from Bioshock Infinite. You can see he's a fighter, but subtle details by the designers allude to his imperfections and the fact that he's sort of a broken man.
- "Action-adventure"
I like starting on a journey coupled with an overarching story like say the the GTA series. A game that draws you in with twist and turns and engaging combat. One with mystery, depth, challenge and even puzzle solving like say the Zelda series.
Let the Smash begin!
- "Seamless NPC/AI companion pathing, blending and transitioning animation"
This has seen improvements this gen but is still not there yet. In most titles, the main character is fitted with all the right animations and subtle details that helps them traverse the terrain in a much believable way that adds a real weight to their movement in the world. However, AI companions see very erratic movements at times, sometimes seemingly going from 0 to 60 in under a second...
I'm looking forward to see what panic button is able to pull with Doom Eternal this time around. Also I keep replaying the trailer for FE: Three houses (awesome music)

There was a short game included on the Over The Hedge DVD, that gave me a headhache. The movie was good though.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass. I mostly had access to only handhelds growing up and that experience always stayed with me. Also GTA liberty city stories on the PSP deserves a mention.
Super Mario 3 on the Gameboy advance. My brother and I had some good times hehe.
I remember watching a walkthrough for The Last Story one time, has some definitely likable characters in imo
I'm still keeping hope this will be good, let's see how it plays out
The gameplay reveal of Cyberpunk 2077. I still watch it from start to end from time to time.
