Gee, I paid 0 dollars and 0 cents for the Warhawk beta. What's your point?
If you honestly think this will be a demo then this conversation need not go any further.
Like it or not, Halo is an awesome franchise. I've never even played the game (never owned a Box or 360) but the sheer numbers don't lie. Maybe it's not your cup of tea, for whatever reason, but at the end of the day...it sells. Period.
The MLG (Major League Gaming circuit) is still dominated by Halo 2 on the XBox. These guys are playing for hundreds of thousands of dollars on a game that came out THREE years ago. Dozens of titles have come and gone but this game still rei...
Is the roster update effecting all consoles or just the PS3?
pog,
Yes, it was a slam. You personally attacked Maddens. I dished it back it to you and you call me on it? Then you edit your posts around like the fake you are. Appreciate the ignore as well. Log on to one some more of your fake accounts and do some more damage with disagree's and ignores.
You're a POS fanboy, end of story. Everyone knows it.
I on the other hand, just call people out for being douchebags...regardless of what console they...
Hello pot, meet kettle.
Roof,
To me it simply means people are willing to pay more NOW because they are having a harder time getting there hands on it. If the Wii was sitting on store shelves 24/7 like the 360 and PS3, the average selling price on eBay would drop accordingly.
Do you speak English? You sure as sh1t can't type it.
Rute..
It's simple economics....supply and demand.
Anyone can walk into a store and buy a PS3 or 360. Not always the case with the Wii. When supply cannot meet demand, people will pay more to get there hands on it. This is why the Wii's average selling price is higher on eBay. Why would anyone pay top dollar on eBay for a 360/PS3 when they can go to a variety of stores and pick one up for retail price?
Could care less about rumble so obviously I don't feel slighted.
Signed.
No dedicated servers for multiplayer:
It's possible this might change, maybe. But for the time being, Halo 3 multiplayer hosting is all client-side. Which means a big advantage for the host player, and lots of potential lag for large matches. Meanwhile, we hear Frontlines will be offering dedicated multiplayer servers -- so why no love from Microsoft for its biggest game this year?
No clan support:
The loss of Halo clans is a huge blow to, well, pretty much anyone...
I think there strategy is to sell a cheap out of date machine in order to gain market share in the console race. So far, it's working fantastic.
Please tell me you were being sarcastic. What record company DOESN'T pay radio stations for air time?
LMFAO...you can't seriously think Sony is the only one who does this.
I don't know how many of you have actually played the game but this year's PS3 version is an improvement over last years. The grapics (mostly the golfers) look last gen on both consoles but outside of that, the PS3 version is better than 07. I haven't run into any glitches yet and I've played quite a bit. Played a few online games and they've all been smooth with no lag, no glitches. The online tournament works fine. Gamernet is running smooth as well.
The switch in dev te...
boody,
Try downloading straight thru the modem. If you see a dramatic difference it is probably your router. I had the same problem recently. I pay for 10mb's and was lucky to be getting 1.5 download speeds across the board. Got rid of the old router and everything is back up to 8-10 mb speeds. PSN downloads, for me, have improved tenfold since. :-)
oops...was responding to boody and replied to wrong comment lol.
I'm pretty sure it installed automatically the first time you put the disc in and started campaign mode.
It's in the TECH section. Until N4G eliminates these sections then the story is perfectly fine IMO.
Could you have found a darker ps3 screen? LOL...there not even from the same site. Good stuff lol.
Yes, yes it was. :-)
That's got nothing to do with your beta comment. I've never paid for a beta and I've never paid for a demo.
You are right they are milking more money from the consumer but what company doesn't? All of these "special editions" and marketing ploys are just ways to get more money out of the consumer. This is nothing new and Sony certainly isn't the only one who has done it.
Each of the big 3 console makers get you in there own way. We could sit her...
