Thats mainly because Microsoft spends Millions & Millions of Dollars on Marketing & Advertising on ONE GAME, most ps3 exclusives sell enough & dont get nearly as much ads & marketing compared to Halo, & name other 360 exclusives that sell nearly as good as Halo & Gears? Thats right. NONE! other 360 exclusives like Forza, Mass effect & crappy wannabe casuals like Viva pinata/Banjo struggle to even pass a million in sales.
even before the original xbox was discontinued, LIVE Started wayy back in 2003, they've been having a fee since then. GFWL is the only LIVE Counterpart that doesnt have a fee.
Kinda sad they pulled the plug for OG xbox games. i mean from time to time i'de get bored playing my 360/ps3 games, so sometimes i'd log onto Halo 2 for old times sake. and even with a small dedicated community of players still playing h2, it's still as fun as it was back then

In all Honesty, Halo 3 is Nothing special, its Definatelty Overhyped & overated. IMO Halo 3 was Decent at Best, But I honestly think the MP Was worth it, It still has a Strong Community of Players & Bungie is One of My Fav. Devs because of the Strong support they put in for the Online Community (New Maps, Modes, Machinima Support & Website)
