I get it, but I felt it was a good article. I am a firm believer in the "look at the good side of things" mindset.
I see where the criticism comes from, but think more about my previous example: What if you scratched up your favorite game? Good thing you made a backup. If you hadn't, then you would have to spend another $50.
There's BannerBomb, Twilight Hack, Indiana Pwns, and one more I think. WiiBrew has all of them. I'm pretty sure this guide lists a few ways, if not then now you should know.
My next article will be on how System Menu 4.2 hurts everyone - Even those with unmodded consoles. That update does a lot of harsh things.
But what if I saved some kid's Christmas because his little brother likes to scratch his discs? I think everyone has destroyed a disc from scratching it at least ONCE. This protects your purchase.
You should just be able to click on the file names to download.
This is not Piracy, this is explaining how to play backups of games you legally own. And FYI, these questions are commonly asked in #wiihack, so obviously there aren't enough guides out there.
You gotta try some new games. Classics are great, but some of the new games are awesome. Plus, homebrewing/modding your Wii can be a lot of fun (at least in my opinion).
My next article will talk about the blunders of System Menu 4.2 and how stupid it makes Nintendo look. It will also include why they went through the hassle.
I can't wait until I get my free game :D
I signed up before I saw this.
I'll be sure to keep dishing these out! Feel free to PM me anytime if you have any homebrew questions or ideas for what I should write about next!
Hey, all you people in Gamer Zone flaming, why don't you come to my news just to raise the heat?
Kidding of course, but I hope I made a point.
I have not bricked my Wii, but I have this installed and have backed up my NAND. I feel much safer now that I have done that.
Wrote yet another article for MGHQ. Did you find this useful? Better than losing your Wii to Nintendo?
Hello again everyone, I wrote this article more out of opinion, but I tried to back it up with factual information. Don't you think this would make a better gaming experience for everyone?
Regardless of age, some people have never heard of it, and I wanted to inform them.
I wrote this article. (I plan to write this as the first comment to all my articles in the Open Zone.)
All feedback appreciated.
Sadly, I didn't write this one, but good job MGHQ!
Thanks to the two posters above me, that is good info. But you do not need any drivers for the Wiimote, it's simply considered a "Human Interface Device".
The article does mention Frets on Fire quite a bit, and involves nothing difficult like customizing the games.
Glad to hear you liked it, I'm trying to publish things that are more original.
I'm sorry that some members here were... displeased with my last article, but please tell me what you think about this one.
PS: MGHQ had no reason to be banned.
