yeh lair doesn't look that bad, even before the patch.
there were some harsh things said about it.

but some things were true.

but yeh the patch was good, because it added the analog controls.. but as you have brought to light, the patch didn't do that much different - because the game was ok before then.

However, when the patch was out; the damage had already been done.

I must say, Uncharted and Folklore (no one remembers that game) used the 6a6 really well, especially for grenades. If they take that out of uncharted 2 as I keep hearing, I'd be a bit sad. But hopefully Naughty Dog keep it in for the final builds of U2.

Saying that, I think the Gyroscope in the DualShock3 or SIXAXIS does PITCH really well..

Army of Two, Uncharted, WipeOut HD, FOLKLORE... all used the pitch really well - when I think about it.

Yeh most games so far, in my opinion, whose main game mechanic is based solely on sixaxis.. haven't been all that good or received well especially if they don't give you the option to revert back to traditional control schemes.

Lair was good but when it first came out (Prior to Patch), they were MAJOR problems with the lock on system - according to IGN. If memory serves me right, this was in part, due to the 6a6 controls - making the game practically broken..(Patches have subse...

I don't have it, but i respect anyone who does - you are hardcore if you have that.. (especially if you got them 'legitimatly')

Also WipEout HD is pretty hard too - beating zico's lap record is near impossible.

but yeh, those two games seem the hardest so far to 'Platinumise'.

...can download 50 gigs in 15 hours (like you or me can hehe)

this is also the case when thinking of people downloading 50 gigs in 2 days. what you both have to realise, is that you can't apply your own circumstances to everyone else. especially you, exoil.

BUT.. for most people it would take days to download 50 gigs because it depends on the infrastructure one's broadband connection is based on (ASSUMING one has broadband). factors such as country, time of day, ...

Ooooh Myyy Days - DAY ONE PURCHASE.

Looks like he's got a beard now hehe. cool.
This game is now a formidable franchise for Sony.

People need to lay off, they can be soo easy to strip.

But maybe as someone hinted at, they are using cheaper screws. It could be that the newer the PS3 SKU, the cheaper the screw material - one of many measures Sony employs to save money on the manufacturing cost of the PS3.

All companies take shortcuts somewhere to reduce cost. But at least this shortcut didn't cause system brickages.. well none that I am aware of.

Just maybe a few stressful mom...

The blue screw is SOO EASY TO STRIP.

People will flame me but I had the same problem when upgrading my mates PS3.

I even bought a new phillips-head screw driver just to do it properly and not with a knife or what not.

PLIERS FIRST, I wish someone told me that too, before I attempted it.
But now the blue screw is no longer blue on my friends PS3 (ssshhh LOL). And I had to use a drop of oil, and then the pliers worked a treat.

I...

Great mathematic comedy!!
bubbles up for that!!

Though one or two things don't make sense in your equation, the most striking to me is the use of the sigma sign (meaning the sum of) in this bit "1/Σpi".

that means, using your key;
'the sum of the amount of fanboys that approve the article' that's like saying 'the total of the total blah blah blah' - just use 1/p

Also, as someone who doesn't really understand the N4G system t...

I like watching it to laugh (as Ultimolu said),
But I would not buy it on blu-ray, even if it is to have bonus content like that of 'Street Fighter IV' or whatever...

or to see ryu emit (in high definition) 'sparks' from his hands instead of a flully relised hadouken. hehe.

...Well maybe I will buy it.. but with Bison Dollars.. [one Bison Dollar ($) will be five GBP (£) you know - I'm still waiting for the Queen to be kidnapped]. /sarcasm
