I think intel has more money, and if so, more money to invest in better technology and research. I'm making this assumption because I had heard of intel a long time ago, but hadn't heard of AMD until after the millennium.

this is a great article, and I'm not being biased here, but I honestly only find this behavior on xbox live compared to on the playstation network. I'd additionally recommend a switch as a possibility

well you guys don't have ninja gaiden sigma, but you're all getting ninja gaiden 2. There's also halo on legendary and gears of war in it's most difficult setting.
game publishers and developers complain about a lack of unified hardware on the console front. Imagine all the different varieties of pc's there are with all their different tech specs. now reminisce back to system requirements. Odds are todays standard ps's are incompatible with todays standard tech specs for games to compete with the graphical quality of console games. basically, it's cheaper to just get a new console every 5 or so years rather than spend hundreds every few years on pc upgr...

the only way to save call of duty 5 is to let infinity ward develop it. If treyarch makes another call of duty game we're all going to skip out on it anyways

with all these specifications, it would be far more expensive than the ps3 ever was, and the price probably wouldn't go down in a long time. Also, after the high defection rate of the 360, why would people go back to microsoft if they had a broken system before?
