My statement about playing since the 80s was meant to show that I've been playing since before Sony and Microsoft were into games. I've got nothing against Sony. My favorite console last gen was the PS2, but you're right. I don't like what the PS3 has to offer. Because nearly everything it offers is done better on the 360. Sony dropped the ball on this generation. I've not played the demo because I don't live in Europe and I don't shop at Gamestop in the US. But I've read plenty of previe...
I've been playing games since the 80s. I own all three current gen consoles, with the exception of the PSP. And I've actually played all the games I'm about to speak about. I'm not a fanboy. But let's be honest here. There are only two good games on the PS3: Valkyria Chronicles and MGS4. LBP is not a good platformer. It's actually a terrible platformer. It's player generated content is certainly something to talk about. But that's it. Uncharted, is an ok game. It's crap compared to MGS4....
I am displeased with MS because when I first play the Xbox 360 Elite, it scracthed my copy of Rock Band. Turn out it was not a good idea to place it verically. Stupid design really. When I broke up with my girlfriend, I haven't touched my xbox ever since. It was her idea to buy the xbox and rockband special edition. I enjoyed it way more than she did. As for my PS3, I haven't touch it much since I bought it at launch 2006. This time it was at a request of a sibling. There was no games to play...
4/5 scales up to an 8/10, so no, it didn't get 9.
Incidentally, Fear 2 is far less fun than Fear 1 was based on what I played in the demo. Everything seems simplified and cartoony; Glowing enemies, grenade trails, generic looking weapons, weak sounds. And a crappy vehicle section. The AI is absolute rubbish, the enemies no longer feel intelligent and dangerous. Plus the HUD is ugly and there's too much crappy voice acting going on. I really hope Killzone 2 destroys fear 2 in sale...
You've entirely missed the interesting part of this game. Who cares whether its Halo, the whole point is seeing whether they can design an RTS that actually plays well on console. Your point would only stand if it were yet another generic shooter.
This video is from the 360 version of the Redwood Falls demonstration. The game was planned for a release on both the ps3 and 360. Both the ps3 and 360 can render what was shown in the video. Now please shut up about how hilarious it is that either ps3 or 360 owners think that its only possible on their respective consoles.
Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to this but there were a bunch of big framerate drops in that video...I'm hoping thats just youtube/my computer.
Wait! Stop! Reality check! Killzone 2 isn't out yet! We should be unbiased.
This is the same asstastic, non-source-citing piece of garbage blog that 'reported' that they got an 'unofficial confirmation' that GTA IV would not be ported to the PC.
I consider any uncited word from these attention whores completely void and useless.
Stop giving him views, I have proof:

"The original PS3 used a motherboard revision of 1-871-868-22. A major revision was made for the PAL territory release (1-873-513-21), which basically removed PS2 Emotion Engine chip and substituted them with software based emulation. For the CECHG and CECHH models, PS2 hardware were completely removed, so hardware allowing even ...
Cut scenes are nice, but I think there should only be 3 main cut scenes, meaning like longer then 4 to 6 minutes. The opening, the big dramatic/actiony scene and the epic ending. of course short cut scenes of building collapsing due to a monster attack or a side boss stepping from the shadows.
Then again what do I know I haven't played any of the newest games because I don't feel like spending tons of money on an Microsoft or Sony. I enjoy the classics on my Wii and thats good...
Successful Troll is Successful. We all got played.
Too much to read?: They lowered their standard keep up with the mediocre, mundane, and superficial FPS bandwagon. They lose more than gain by removing the system all together in MP, it should be optional. The cover system is one of the qualities that differentiated them from the rest of the FPS genre is being abandoned. I think that Killzone will just be forgotten like the rest of the scum that accumulated over the years(FPS, haha).
Their decision was definitely a cursory evasio...
My wisdom? Not sure what you mean. I guess you had to resort to ad hominem attacks since you couldn't defend then game. Which doesn't even need defending, because I never said anything bad about it! Are you mad because I said it would get 7s and 8s? Those are good scores!
