I hope there is more of a push for great cheaper high resolution monitors so there are more improvements in gpu technology.
Just remember this game was revealed in 2006 along side final fantasy XIII. It has now been in development in one way or another for 9 years. At least it seems to be out of development hell now.
They should bring it on steam! jrpgs on pc are making a resurgence and selling pretty damn well, so there's no loss.
It's really not though, fps in older consoles up until psx and n64 used to be all a solid 60fps. Remember, nes was 60fps, super nintendo was 60fps, genesis was 60fps, ps4 and xbone are mostly 30fps titles. Ever since we started valuing graphics above gameplay, we've let the fps drop.
This is interesting. I wonder if it's taking advantage of the Hyperthreading.
I don't even own an Xbox One. (PC gaming ftw!) But this looks great! I played through and loved the original and this looks like enough work is being put behind it that I want to play it through again. Props to the team for not just sharpening up the textures and adding resolution. It looks like there was a lot of actual work put behind this.
Can't say if he's a good actor, but he has the naughty dog dead fish eyes down.
Totally agree
Call me weird, but I loved DmC, I would actually love a sequel.
Frankly, from everything I've heard of this game, it sounds like EA is playing this one safe. Don't know how I feel about it.
You have some problems you should work out buddy
Did we play the same game? He definitely wasn't a pointless character.
These are bullshots. Don't expect it to look this crisp.
Awesome! if it's good, I'll be picking this up on steam for sure!
Too bad this broke 21:9 aspect ratio support.
Am I seriously the only one that loves DMC? The game itself is solid.
"$20,000 cinema system" All I see is a 32" flatscreen next to a couch.
@starrman1985. My biggest problem with the Witcher 3 graphics was the global lighting in game. But, there's a mod in development that is bringing the cutscene lighting engine to in-game and it looks fabulous, so my only real complaint is now being taken care of.
Bethesda games are all insanely good for modding. It's mind blowing. Fantastic mods are still coming to Fallout New Vegas and that game is years old.
I love that his most recent games are on pc, and it would suck if his next ones weren't.
