well if you install it once you can play it as long as you want on 1 desk on the ps3 but on the 360 you have to swap the desk 2 times and if you want to replay the game you should swap it 2 times again and if you want replay it again you should swap agian and again ......
so 1 time install is better not like you don't have anyting to do in your "2" hours
well they come with a free 3D TV? if so then you are right :D

BTW i have the old ps3 and the video says that you should use a 5400 rpm but its ok i am using a 7200 rpm and it works fine :)
