I guess the author did not play Bastion as it is missing from the list. Easily a top ten place and in my opinion song of the year - http://www.youtube.com/watc...
The last I read was there are no plans to release it in US. I would hope they reconsider if the sales are good in Europe.
I was not happy with the quality of the video on youtube when viewed in 480p so I upscaled them to get better quality. You can see one in 480p which was my first quick capture I done at http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I should point out that the editing software allows you to export to 720p so it is not my intention to deceive.
I need a Torchlight because I am scared of the dark.
EDIT: Oh Torchlight the game, yeah I need that as well :)
It is out on Xbox Arcade. Check the dashboard or Marketplace at http://marketplace.xbox.com...
I think the author means play for hours non stop. If you read the second sentence it says its meant to be played in shorter bursts. I would agree with this, I would play the Dreamcast version for 30 minutes then get bored, then either let someone else play or return to it the next day, much the same as when I play Outrun.
My favourite cutscene is in Lost Odyssey. Spoiler warning: http://www.youtube.com/watc... A great scene that had me welling up, a game has never done that to me, not even Aeris' death :)
Thanks for bringing it to my attention on my site. I contacted the Gamer Euphoria admin about the copied review but have not heard anything back yet.
That is one of the problems, I wish I had a capture card so I could record some proper gameplay. I would show the other side to the game where you sneak around and set up traps to scare the bears which eventually drive them insane. As I mentioned in my review, this is the more enjoyable way to play the game but I fear people may ignore it.
7/10 is a fair score. I would have gave it an 8 if the camera angles worked better but it does affect the gameplay often.
I was at Eurogamer yesterday where this video was taken. They had EA staff watching on every aisle of monitors. Photos and video were not allowed, so getting any footage would have been tricky to get hold of. Also the aisle were like sardine cans, getting a good distance and angle would have been difficult.
