Alot of great points and a reasonable conclusion. Since cells are emended in everyday life they have an edge over the handheld market via access ability and convince. The cell companies are showing no signs of losing their market share and if anything might smother out the handheld. Maybe not soon but in this current pattern it will occur. Companies do have to turn a profit and not just on the the system themselves but on the lisence fees associated with game sells.

All valid and well said. Unfortunately it seems that the internet is having to instill etiquette in the children that they did not receive from home.
Competition is mostly great for any industry, It requires companies to push the boundaries of what would be an otherwise limited sequential updates. Sure you can say it limits the amount of product by dividing the user base, but I see that as a small problem versus the many positives that are also not measured. Whether it be controller/format/hardware/sof tware/os updates it forces each company to move forward as well as innovate
As far as an oversaturated market, it may be...
What is the primary purpose of having an USB3.0 on the side in comparison to the 2 that are on the back? Charge/Play Kit? External HDD/SSD?
Nice list so far, would like to include some of my favs and see if they make it into the top 10.
Final Fantasy VII
Xenogears
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
Castlevania SotN
Tomb Raider
Tony Hawk
I like events, they help break up the time, but I spend more time in WvWvW. Could we get some variations on the maps?
I want to see those Zerg groups to come to a halt, all the skillless players in one big group. Want to be pulled/stunned/rooted/posined/ bleeding/crippled/chilled/vulne rable/feared and die in seconds, sure go right on ahead.
I just like the idea of running in a group of 3-4 and running across the same numbers and really seeing how you compare...
I would think that someone in Nintendo has proposed this idea in a meeting but will but only do so if they are no longer in the hardware market.
Nintendo is a great entry platform and I hope they will be there for my grandchildren, their games are easy to understand and are simple core gameplay at its finest. I may not buy the system for myself, but do buy games for my kids DS and WiiU and hopeful it can sustain the rough patches ahead.

Does not really matter to me if online only. Alot of good games run this way, just so happens that a large number of them are MMOs.
If companies are not going to use DRM to verify authenticity could they be using "online only" games as a form of security?
Destiny is a "Online Only" game, but does not recieve the same amout of slack. Why is that?
Seth from Sreet Fighter 4, now that guy was a real P.O.S.
We all have to wait till 2014, still has a year of production till released :(
Respawn does have alot to prove, but feedback of the game was positive for their E3 showing. Plus who does not like Mechs? Pacific Rim, 2 tickets please!
I am hopeful that this trend can continue, more dev time for Maps, because in the end it can give you more than the standard 10 or so maps that seem to come with current FPS MP games. IF you want story here is the DLC.
My most fun I have had on a shooter was with Tribes: Ascend or Team Fortress 2, so this is my base of reasoning.
Mods > DLC
PC's have the ability to offer gamers to add to their gaming experience that consoles simply do not. Maybe not every game is built this way but it is a benefit overlooked
From a business standpoint it makes senese to try and maximize revenue by cutting out the modding done on current get systems so they can torrent games and play without giving revenue to the Publisher/Devloper by purchasing the game.
These have to be corrected to help maintaine the industry. I for one get tired of seeing so many talented devlopers closing their doors because it is becoming harder to make it in the market as is. Piracy should be snuffed out, not one person has th...
Well I find myself in the minority, I actually enjoyed what I was seeing form the Xone. I hear people complaining about games, and rightfully so as there where not near enough shown but they did state that E3 would be games oriented so would hold the screams to a minimum till you see what they actually have , but I mainly use my PC for my gaming needs. Both PS3/360 sit collecting dust, because I can get a better version of the game and cheaper for PC. I was excited to see the how responsive t...
For all we know Sony could of just blurred the image of a Netgear router, j/k ;P
Well this blows have a surprise meeting tomorrow at the same time of this event  . Trying to decide to either wait to watch show in its entirety later that evening or simply check the websites on my phone during lunch.
Sorry but never said it wasnt, just stating that newcomers to the PC relm will find that GPU is dependent on more features than just the card in itself. PSU have enough power? Wanna run SLI/Crossfire, does your mobo have the slots? Current CPU, most come with i3/5/7 or amd equivalent but as next gen is soon to be on our doorsteps it would only make sense to further future proof your rig with one of the aformentioned cpu preferably i5/7. When author was making this article, which I was suppris...
I was currently in the market for doing a PC upgrade and found it cheaper, and easier to actually purchase a prebuilt one from an online supplier. In my case I found Digital Storm to suit my PC rig need. You can find some great deals that if your not savvy with upgrading are the best route. Most people that want to upgrade to play games on PCs might end up finding that the GPU is the least of their worries.
How can you have not owned a Nintendo console? I guess this was bound to happen, I officially feel old.
Nintendo has a track record of protecting the property fierce. Unfortunately I does paint them in a negative light in some eyes.
I mainly bought it for FFVII:CC, and GoW. Both played well, just not many games can hold my attention once completing them. I guess that is why I now tend to play more MMO/Online only games, there is always a carrot at the end of the stick/ PVP is mostly different in almost every encounter. Sure the landscape may be the same but the encounters are not.
Now that I think about it I do not care that much for level grinding to hit a cap either lol.
Anyone else e...
