Very through and on point summary.
No lies told. I do indeed own an Alienware 17in laptop with Gtx 2070.
I'll be getting this for my future Steam Deck and my Alienware laptop that I already own.
Nintendo Switch is lackluster at best. I am a Switch V2 owner, but admit I actually enjoyed the New 3Ds XL, and DS Lite as well as GameBoy Advance SP, SNES, NES, GameBoy; far more. For one the Switch needs a web browser and multimedia capabilities. Not to mention a power increase. Sorry Nintendo but you have to bring your A Game. A Switch Pro is desperately needed. I have been a Nintendo fan since I was a little kid. I'm 39 now and can't accept their weak offerings at top dollar anymor...
As a Switch owner, I must admit that Nintendo and their greed are what's holding them back. They try to always go, with the cheapest hardware, with the most gimmicks and ports/ same ole series, sold at high price; vs the others who bring powerful hardware sold at a loss and new amazing games each generation. I love my Switch but Nintendo needs to bring their A Game., but
Maybe I need glasses but the original version looks better to me and has more details like bricks on the road.
This is exactly why I ordered the 512 gb model. Nintendo needs to get a kick in the rump for that switch oled model. Yes I do own a switch v2, but I know only healthy competition; can make Nintendo do better than lackluster offerings.
I've already pre-ordered a 512 gb Steam Deck. Can't wait to have it in hand. I like my Switch V2 but will love this. Someone had to bring their A Game as Nintendo wasn't doing so.
Lazy and bare minimum are understatements. This should've never made it past being a thought. It's utterly pathetic. And I say this as someone who's first system was the NES and favorite is the Snes. Nintendo needs to start bringing there A Game, or the Switch will be the last console I buy of theirs.
I fully believe Nintendo needs to release a Switch Pro. Not mind you for their inhouse games, but for third party offerings; if not the switch will get less and less games and the ones that do come will look and preform horribly.
This is the pokemon game I'm excited for, but knowing Nintendo I'll be let down as usual. For some reason they have this minimalist mindset with everything they do.
Man please I can easily think of ten reasons why this is disappointing.
Bs it's not even a half step of a half step! Honestly and this is from me a person who only has his Nintendo Switch and Gaming Laptop. The Switch Oled is a pathetic offering, from a company that knows better.
I honestly hope Nintendo suffers a major loss thanks to this. I've been a Nintendo fan since the NES, but now at 39 I see Nintendo as far worse than Sony or Microsoft have ever been. I owned a V1 switch and now own a V2 model, and see no point at all to the switch oled model.
They couldn't even bother to add more ram!
Hell my Motorola one 5g Ace has 6gb of ram and a Snapdragon 750, and only cost me about $271 at Metro PCS tax included. And it is more powerf...
Ouch yet another case of Nintendo not doing what it's fans want smh.
Drug testing needs to happen at Nintendo asap! There's no way they thought this was a good idea, and weren't on something much much stronger than wacky tobacky.
No way any other gaming company could pull a stunt like this and not be crucified. Nintendo has been anti consumer for years, but with the Switch they've taken things to a whole new level.
Less than worthy ports/hd remasters of old games at full price. Most of the first party offering...
Nintendo needs to put a web browser and multimedia capabilities on the Nintendo Switch asap! If they did that they could actually take sales away from Tablets/iPads. Sadly though Nintendo never used the full potential of their own products and hacker/modders have to do the job.
Thanks Nintendo for offering us this subpar upgrade.
Well we can all agree Nintendo is on crack and their greed and anti consumer nature knows no bounds. Don't believe me look at how much they charge for WiiU ports and bare minimum hd remasters.
Wait so GameFreak, is releasing yet another lackluster offering, and whom is surprised by this; given their recent track record?
