Whenough they killed the always online concept they killed the cloud powered added processing power From a developer point of view.
The developers need to know everyone will always be online to make it worthwhile to implement cloud tech into their games in terms of added power.

Nah, it seems to be getting developed alongside the engine. They also plan for it to be around for 10+ years if I recall correctly. Releasing it prematurely would kill that initial push a game like this needs.

He's much more likely to start 18 different shell studios and one real one. Each one releases a trailer for a game. And then he gets on stage at some big event to say that all these studios are faake and that all the trailers actually make up a single trailer for one game.
It doesn't. The demo hitches a lot actually. And its not 1080 either. Also had many jagged and things blurred at not to great of distances. Thats the target for the retail release. This is just a demo. Still a long way to go.
I doubt we end up with 60fps, but its final fantasy, anything above 30 is gravy. it definitely does felt like a "nextgen" final fantasy.

Exactly. What we got in the demo is the bare bones of the combat. I still felt it was engaging.
I played the ffxv demo. Did everything to do in it. Im so crazy excited for it.
The combat can be easy to grasp, but takes a little longer to master. Ideally we won't be prompted to parry and instead have to figure it out.

I hope the summons get changed. Ramuh has an awesome cinematic, but it's also a get out of jail free card, no work required.
They already excel at creating games that make the most out of their hardware. Imagine star fox. It would also be very nice to have a fun, cartoony option for VR. Everything seems to be realistic/gritt right now

This game will have to have some wonderful imagery and backstory, and a proper price point, to be worth all the walking and looking.

I imagine in games like this where tenths of a second longer animations will take the game from extremely hard to unfair, that the devs would have to have a good amount of time in playing the game.
